I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients in the Tampa Bay area through private practice for over 25 years. My experience includes working with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, grief, PTSD, relationship challenges, and substance misuse. I believe that therapy should never be a one-size-fits-all experience. Instead, I take a personalized, integrative approach that honors each person’s unique story and needs. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space—one that offers both support and meaningful challenge—to foster growth and healing.

Hope gives us the strength and desire to change, grow, and become whole again once we've faced difficult challenges. I believe each individual is unique and holds the keys to his/her own healing. Yet, sometimes we may need someone to work beside us to recognize what we already know and to help us to begin the steps necessary to achieve change. I am here to join with you in your journey toward overcoming depression, anxiety, adjustment issues or other challenges you may be facing.

I have a passion to help people overcome trials of life, go in the direction of grace and acceptance, and come to terms with their shortcomings without feeling condemnation. My aim is to help people learn how to be hospitable rather than exist in a state of hostility or loneliness. While we cannot change difficult situations of our past, we can work together to better understand and resolve the resulting challenges in our life. We all share a common need to express emotions and learn new ways to cope effectively.

The landscape of your life has been shaped by how you navigated past challenges. We each develop behaviors to feel seen and secure, and at one time, these actions were essential for your survival. Yet, the patterns that once protected you can eventually become the primary cause of your distress, reappearing whenever a situation triggers that old response.
Triggers inform our work by taking us back in time, causing us to move reactively. Our goal is to make small, dynamic shifts that stack together. We meet triggers with curiosity rather than fear, untangling the core beliefs that help you ground yourself in your own expectations.

Asking for help is fucking hard. But let's be real, what you're doing now isn't necessarily easy either... lying awake replaying conversations wondering if you sounded weird. Rewriting the same message three times before hitting send. Creating fake emergencies to bail out on plans last minute. Assuming someone's mad at you because they didn’t respond right away. You don’t have to keep spiraling like this. You can learn to stop getting pulled into every anxious thought your brain throws at you.
