Dr. Michael L Haney has over 35 years of experience specializing in child abuse, trauma, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, crisis intervention, disaster behavioral and mental health response. He works with children, adolescents, and adults. He is an adjunct faculty at the College of Social Work at Florida State University. He is a Nationally Certified Counselor, a Critical Incident Stress Manager, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Clinical Supervisor. Dr. Haney is a part of the Comprehensive MedPsych Systems (CMPS) team.

MV collaborated with occupational therapists, physical therapists, and case managers to holistically support her clients. MV continues to subscribe to this comprehensive approach to treatment. Additionally, MV developed skills for addressing school-based issues through her work in a K-8 school, supporting students with various behavioral, social, and emotional issues. She has treated children with Autism, ADHD, trauma, physical/intellectual disabilities, and other conditions.
