To achieve this goal, we continuously make it our priority to provide a therapeutic environment that is centered around growth, clarity, and a new beginning. “Oh, the places you’ll go,” is a profound and very true statement by Dr. Suess. Life is a journey and the path traveled cannot be predicted. In life, we experience transitions, and changes in life may appear as grief, anxiety, depression, divorce, trauma, marital conflict, or so much more. My name is LaTasha Thomas, and I am here to help you navigate those life transitions.

I believe that every person can find solutions to their problems and feel a renewed sense of joy and meaning in their lives. I use many approaches that are tailored to your individual symptoms, needs, and goals. However, the goal is always to improve your life in the here and now, to build the life you want. My clients face problems that appear impossible to overcome or live through, whether it is addiction, personality problems, the impact of trauma, or feeling haunted by and stuck in patterns from the past.

I am credentialed with Florida Blue, Ambetter, United Healthcare, Aetna, Cigna, Oscar, Blue Cross Blue of Massachusetts, Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, Quest Behavioral Health, Horizon Blue Cross, blue Shield, and Optum.
Are you struggling underneath the smile you show to others? Maybe you're handling responsibilities, showing up for others, and getting things done, but internally dealing with overthinking, stress, frustration, or anxiousness. Especially if you put pressure on yourself to figure things out alone, not talk about emotions, and just keep pushing forward. I work with those who are tired of overthinking, avoiding difficult conversations, or feeling like they’re not moving forward in life, or are stuck. Many of my clients deal with anxiety, ADHD, relationship issues, or burnout, but it shows up as procrastination, shutting down, or anger.

On the outside it looks like you have it all together, but inside you're engaged in a constant struggle for control. Your anxiety, OCD, and/or eating disorder has taken over your life. You find yourself in a constant loop of feeling worried, nervous, stressed and at times not good enough, thin enough, or smart enough. You’re stuck and unable to find the relief that you crave, so you try temporary fixes. Sometimes you disconnect and avoid people and your responsibilities, sometimes you binge, sometimes you purge, and sometimes you try to use anything that will distract your mind. You find, however, that your mind just wont turn off.

I work primarily with adult women (18+) in Texas, Kansas, and Florida who may be feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in unhealthy relationship patterns, or struggling with anxiety, stress, self-worth, burnout, or major life transitions. Many clients come to therapy feeling emotionally drained, disconnected from themselves, or unsure of how to move forward. Hello. My most favorite part of being a therapist is the celebration of your successes as we work together. I'm so glad you're taking these first steps towards support, healing, and relief. Therapy is a place to gain tools, learn about yourself, make impactful changes, and above all to be seen, heard, and accepted - whether you're struggling with grief, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, big decisions, the long-lasting impact of trauma, or any human challenge. Therapy can also be hard work - facing uncomfortable feelings and truths. My work is infused with compassion and humor to make the hard parts a little softer.

I'm someone who believes in the power of feeling seen, heard, and understood. I believe that therapy should feel like a real conversation where you can breathe, think, and be real, not a clinical checklist. I believe you deserve a space where you don't have to pretend, perform, or be "put together". Therapy with me is about helping you feel safe enough to be your real, unfiltered self. Together, we'll work through what you're carrying and build tools that feel realistic and fit your real life.
