Many of my clients have found themselves in very similar dilemmas. You didn’t expect anxiety, addiction, or so much anger at this point in your life. Yet somehow, things suddenly veer off track. What’s certain now is that you feel embarrassed, frustrated, or maybe even a bit frightened by this unexpected downturn in your life. So far, you’ve managed to hold it together, but it’s become painfully clear that something has to change—and soon. You want clarity, relief, and a way out of.

You’re the go-to friend, the dependable coworker, the one who gets it done. But under the calm exterior, your mind doesn’t stop. Your chest gets tight, sleep is a mess, and you replay conversations wondering what you said wrong. You’ve been the “good one” everywhere, then snap or shut down at home. You want to feel calmer, clearer, and more like yourself, but white-knuckling it hasn’t worked. You're ready to take off the mask and feel real again. In session it’s human to human; no lectures or quick fixes. You’ll have a steady place to exhale, make sense of what’s happening inside, and try new responses that actually stick.

I specialize in working with those struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and eating disorders. I enjoy working with adults that are struggling with a sense of emotional loneliness or disconnection and find it difficult to "turn off" or be present, resulting in high levels of stress. I blend compassion, science, and humor in such a way that often helps people feel at ease and understood. I also work with individuals struggling with disordered eating or mild to moderate eating disorders, particularly Binge Eating Disorder. In a world that demands perfection, I work to debunk myths and heal your relationship with food.

Let’s be real, life can be a lot. Whether anxiety won’t quiet down, self-doubt keeps creeping in, or past experiences continue to affect your present. Whatever you're facing, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Therapy is a space where you can work through challenges, gain clarity, and develop tools to move forward with confidence.

In practice for over 25 years, I take a client centered and eclectic approach with a deep appreciation for individuality and diversity. I have been trained extensively in dynamic psychotherapy. Part science and part art, the practice of dynamic psychotherapy is more than a technique. It addresses the complexity and uniqueness of each person's life story, hopes and dreams. Would you like to stop putting up with problems that you have been trying to change, or trying to force yourself to accept what is unacceptable to you?

Not your everyday therapist. If you're looking for a cookie-cutter experience, keep searching. I'm a holistic, younger clinician—experimental, deeply open-minded, spiritual with a bit of quirk—and I use humor when it helps crack things open. Therapy doesn’t have to be boring or intimidating, I promise! I primarily work with LGBTQ+ couples and individuals across Florida via telehealth and also do ecotherapy in Tampa Bay. Find affirming support for conflict loops, trust repair, identity stress, open relationship talks. I offer a free 30 minute virtual consult because you deserve the time to explore your needs without any commitment.

Sometimes, difficult things happen in life, leaving you feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or even isolated. You might try to cope with these situations by using strategies you used before, only to realize they don't work as well anymore. As a result, you may find your distress has started to affect other areas of your life (school, work, relationships, etc.) As a Clinical Psychologist, I have a lot of experience in providing evidence-based care to individuals, couples, and families who have found themselves in such situations. I also specialize in providing services to military/veteran populations and juvenile offenders.

I specialize in working with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and complex trauma. I work with teens, college students, and adults who are feeling overwhelmed with academic and work-related demands, often resulting in feeling disconnected from self and others. The work of therapy involves fostering understanding into these symptoms, often shedding light on deeply held emotions and beliefs. Exploration and understanding frees up space for clients to let go of old beliefs that are no longer serving them, develop new ways to cope with life's challenges, and build meaningful relationships.

You have so much on your plate, trying to keep up with work, family, relationships, and your personal goals. Some days it feels like no matter how hard you try, you’re not giving enough or doing it the way you wish you could. You’re pulled in a hundred directions, and finding even a little time for yourself feels impossible. The expectations weigh you down, leaving you stressed, frustrated, and doubting yourself. You put on a smile and try to push through, but inside you feel like you’re barely keeping your head above water. And that just makes you feel even more alone, like no one really gets it. It doesn't have to be this way.

Hi! I think therapists all provide something a bit different, so it's important to try and find the right fit. My approach has been successful with couples, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and adults who have a history of feeling misunderstood. My experience also extends to individuals on the autism spectrum, trauma, navigating communication, and boundary difficulties.

“I’m fine” is the one of most common lies we hear. It's ok not to be ok. We are often shamed for being broken instead of asked how we fell apart. For sixteen years I suffered from an eating disorder that ultimately inspired my studies to help others who felt anxious, depressed, and insecure. Trauma is a fact of life but it does not have to be a life sentence. Humans are very resilient. Artwork is just like our ever-evolving journey; we are always learning, growing, and surprised by life. My focus is primarily client-centered; however, I use an eclectic approach to meet the needs of my clients.
