My goal is to help women realize their full potential even when unexpected life events happen. I tell you this to let you know sometimes life does not go as we plan, but I would like to remind you that the rest of your story is unwritten still.

You’re not broken...but you might feel stuck in patterns you can’t seem to change. Maybe you overthink everything, doubt yourself, or feel overwhelmed by your emotions or relationships. You might feel disconnected from who you are or unsure what to trust inside yourself anymore. I work with people who are tired of feeling this way and ready for something to shift, even if they don’t know how yet. Together, we slow things down, make sense of what you’ve been through, and start helping you feel more clear, grounded, and like yourself again.

In addition to counseling services, I provide comprehensive ADHD diagnostic assessments for adolescents (ages 12+) and adults who are wondering if ADHD may be affecting their daily functioning, school/work, relationships, or overall well-being
Living in alignment can be challenging, especially in a world that often feels out of balance. Many of us carry the effects of past trauma while also navigating difficult relationship dynamics, family and societal pressures, job stress, health concerns, profound loss, and uncertainty about the future. I strive to provide a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where healing and personal growth can flourish. My approach integrates evidence-based clinical tools with practical real-world strategies while helping you reconnect with your own inner strength and wisdom.

My ideal client is someone who’s ready to seek professional support after trying to manage life on their own and realizing it’s no longer working. You may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of what to do next. Parents, it might feel like you’ve lost your way in helping your child navigate emotional or behavioral challenges. For couples and families, the tension and friction at home may have reached a point where communication breaks down and connection feels out of reach. You’ve tried every avenue, and nothing seems to bring lasting relief. That’s where I come in. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore what’s not working.

FAQ - Teenage and Adolescent Therapists
What does therapy for teenagers look like?
When a therapist works with a teenager, the pair will talk about what the teen is struggling with and explore solutions, which may involve interpersonal skills, coping strategies, medication, or lifestyle changes related to sleep, diet, and exercise. Different therapists employ different modalities, but most involve a combination of conversation and skill building.

How long does therapy for teenagers generally take to work?
There’s variability in teenagers’ experiences and challenges; some may begin to improve from therapy within a few weeks while others may take several months or longer. Teens can discuss their progress with their therapist periodically to assess how they’re improving and any changes to the treatment plan that could potentially accelerate that progress.

How do you encourage a teenager to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express your concern and love while framing therapy as an opportunity to explore a tool that could help improve their life; just like they practice baseball or dance, now they can practice their emotional skills. Give your teen control over the process where you can—maybe by weighing in on choice of therapist and signaling that therapy involves confidentiality, so a parent need not know all that is discussed in sessions.

How do you prepare teens for therapy?
You can prepare your teenager for therapy by describing what the process will look like and setting expectations for timeline, if requested. You can explain that the first session may begin with an assessment phase, that they can describe their experiences but that the therapist will ask questions too, and that it may take time to feel comfortable opening up. Ask how they’re feeling about the process and answer any questions calmly and supportively.
