My clients typically have recent life stressors related to relationships, career exploration/burnout, recent adjustment to changes, difficulty coping, anxiety, and depression. Cristy Clark is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and has been in the mental health field for over 15 years. She received her Master of Arts in Counseling from Webster University and then she received a post-master’s degree, Specialist in Education, from Barry University with a concentration in Marriage and Family Counseling. Cristy has experience and training in a variety of therapeutic approaches; such as Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, and Strength Based approaches as well as Trauma Informed Care.

For many people, faith is an integral part of their sense of wholeness. For clients who feel that way, I integrate faith into the experience of psychotherapy. Frequent issues that clients bring into counseling include relationships, depression, anxiety, life transitions, illness, and grief.
