Therapy sessions for adults, in-person, or online via video for FL residents.
Sometimes it’s not just one thing… it’s everything. Overwhelming. Exhausting. Life just feels off, and you’re not quite yourself. And in the middle of this, it’s easy to feel lost. But what if this hard season… is actually your way back to you? The version of you who feels grounded, focused, and able to enjoy life again. Divorce. Job loss. Empty nest. Relocation. Anxious. Depressed. It can feel like everything is falling apart, but it can also be where something new begins. I help women through life’s toughest transitions with compassion, and real tools. You don’t have to do this alone. Evening & weekend sessions available.

For 7 years, I've sat with kids, teens, and young adults as they've worked through anxiety, grief, and the kind of stress that steals sleep and steals joy. I've sat with the parents and partners who love them, too. I specialize in clients ages 10–40, and have a deep commitment to supporting individuals as they navigate life transitions, uncertainty, and the often-unspoken. Whether you're a parent wondering if your child needs more support than you can give on your own, a young adult who's tired of white-knuckling it, or a spouse holding things together while everything shifts. You don’t have to do this alone, I’m here to support.

Sometimes life does not fall apart all at once. It slowly becomes heavier. You may be managing substance use, depression, anxiety, or patterns that keep repeating no matter how hard you try to change them. Wanting something different is often the first step, even when you are unsure where to begin.

Do you find yourself caught in anxious thoughts, overwhelmed by your emotions, or unsure how to navigate important relationships? You don’t have to go through it alone. I work with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, as well as couples looking to improve connection and communication. Anxiety can show up as overthinking, panic, irritability, perfectionism, avoidance, or a persistent sense of “not being enough.” I help clients better understand their anxiety and develop practical tools to make it more manageable and less disruptive in daily life.

I offer therapy session in person as well as online.
My job is to work myself out of a job. By that I mean that when you come to see me I will work towards your no longer needing to see me because you will be free of the pain that led you to me. Ideally you will become better equipped to deal with all that life throws at you through your sessions. I believe therapy should be a healing experience and it is a relationship where I need to earn your trust and it is my responsibility to create a safe space where you can open up and talk about what is important to you. I have experience with children, adolescents, adults, couples and groups.

Ever Feel Like This? The pressure is relentless. So is the feeling that you're facing it alone. Maybe there's a constant hum of anxiety, a loneliness that lingers even when you have people around. You've tried things. They help, until they don't. Fair warning: I'm not what most people expect. But then again, neither are most of my clients. The bigger surprise, for most of them, is that something finally works. The medication that was supposed to fix it — didn't. Suggesting more journaling about it felt like an insult. I get it.

FAQ - About In Person Therapy
What are the benefits of in-person therapy?
In-person therapy offers several benefits that some people find highly valuable for their mental health treatment. Being present in the same room as your therapist can create a stronger sense of connection and allow for more nuanced communication through body language. Some people may also find it easier to focus in therapy when they are in a dedicated space and away from potential distractions related to home or work; attending an in-person session provides a clear boundary between therapy time and the rest of your life. For certain therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure therapy, or somatic therapy, being in person may be particularly important, as these therapies benefit from the therapist being able to observe and respond to a client’s physical cues effectively. Additionally, some individuals simply feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or painful topics when they are face-to-face with their therapist rather than on a screen.

When should I choose in-person therapy over online therapy?
In-person therapy may be a better choice when you need a structured therapeutic environment separate from your daily life, when you find it difficult to focus or feel comfortable in an online setting, or when privacy at home is a concern. It may also be more appropriate if you are dealing with severe mental health symptoms that require close monitoring or if your therapy involves approaches that rely heavily on observing physical cues. On the other hand, if convenience, scheduling flexibility, or access to specialists outside your immediate area are priorities, online therapy may be a better fit. Many therapists offer both options, so you can also discuss with a provider which format might work best for your specific situation.

How do I find an in-person therapist?
You can use Psychology Today's therapist directory to find an in-person therapist in your area. You can search by location, insurance accepted, specialty areas, therapeutic approaches, and other criteria to narrow down providers who meet your needs. Each therapist profile includes information about their credentials, areas of expertise, and whether they offer in-person sessions. Once you have identified potential therapists, you can contact them directly through the directory to schedule an initial consultation and determine whether they are a good fit before committing to ongoing treatment. When reaching out, it can be helpful to confirm their availability for in-person appointments, their office location, and whether they accept your insurance.
