I believe meaningful change happens when we address the whole person—mind, body, relationships, and lived experience. My work as a psychologist is rooted in a holistic approach that helps individuals and families feel more grounded, connected, and at ease in their lives. I work with both individuals and families facing anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and patterns that no longer serve them. Many of my clients are insightful and motivated, yet feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or stuck in maladaptive cycles. Therapy is a space to slow down, listen more deeply, and create room for change.

Milestones Child Psychology offers expert therapy services including Anxiety Therapy, Parent Training & Coaching, and Social Skills Training for Kids & Teens.
Waiting for answers when your child is struggling can feel unbearable. You know your child needs support now, yet you are likely facing 18-to-24-month waitlists at major centers for the evaluations they need. At Milestones Child Psychology, we believe waiting two years for critical developmental services is unacceptable. We founded our practice to change that narrative, offering "gold standard," hospital-quality neuropsychological evaluations with a turnaround time of just approximately three weeks.

Life can feel overwhelming whether you’re carrying feelings of anxiety (excessive worry/panic attacks, performance, OCD), grief, trauma, depression, ADHD challenges, life transitions (family, launching a college student, career, divorce) or peak performance work (elite athletes, professionals). You may feel stuck, depleted, numb, or aware that you’re not reaching your full potential-personally, professionally or athletically. It takes courage to ask for help and therapy can offer not only relief, new skills, clarity and confidence, but understanding and insight to support lasting positive change.

I specialize in supporting autistic adolescents and adults with eating disorders and disordered eating. My approach is neurodiversity-affirming and recognizes that food struggles are often connected to sensory sensitivities, predictability needs, interoception differences, masking, anxiety, and autistic burnout. I help clients build self-understanding, flexibility, nervous system safety, and a sustainable relationship with food without shame or forcing compliance. I also support parents navigating the overlap between autism and eating disorders.

I work with individuals, couples, families, and teens—whether you’re healing from trauma, navigating relationship struggles, or simply managing the stress of daily life.
Hi, I’m Jessi! My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you feel comfortable exploring whatever brought you to therapy. Many of the challenges we face today are rooted in past relationships, environments, and experiences, and together we’ll work to understand those patterns while building tools for moving forward. I’ve had the privilege of working with people of all ages, backgrounds, faiths, lifestyles, and identities, and my clients often share that therapy with me feels easier and more comfortable than they expected. I believe in keeping the process positive, collaborative, and tailored to your needs

FAQ - Teenage and Adolescent Therapists
What does therapy for teenagers look like?
When a therapist works with a teenager, the pair will talk about what the teen is struggling with and explore solutions, which may involve interpersonal skills, coping strategies, medication, or lifestyle changes related to sleep, diet, and exercise. Different therapists employ different modalities, but most involve a combination of conversation and skill building.

How long does therapy for teenagers generally take to work?
There’s variability in teenagers’ experiences and challenges; some may begin to improve from therapy within a few weeks while others may take several months or longer. Teens can discuss their progress with their therapist periodically to assess how they’re improving and any changes to the treatment plan that could potentially accelerate that progress.

How do you encourage a teenager to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express your concern and love while framing therapy as an opportunity to explore a tool that could help improve their life; just like they practice baseball or dance, now they can practice their emotional skills. Give your teen control over the process where you can—maybe by weighing in on choice of therapist and signaling that therapy involves confidentiality, so a parent need not know all that is discussed in sessions.

How do you prepare teens for therapy?
You can prepare your teenager for therapy by describing what the process will look like and setting expectations for timeline, if requested. You can explain that the first session may begin with an assessment phase, that they can describe their experiences but that the therapist will ask questions too, and that it may take time to feel comfortable opening up. Ask how they’re feeling about the process and answer any questions calmly and supportively.
