Entering into therapy is a big step, and I feel that an important aspect of helping you to comfortably make this step is providing a safe and supportive therapeutic environment. People begin counseling because they want something to shift or change in their lives. I facilitate positive change by encouraging exploration, processing relevant issues with you, and helping you to identify healthy and unhealthy coping mechanisms in your life with the purpose of changing those that are not adaptive.
I have extensive experience working with the following issues: depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, eating disorders, trauma recovery, and self-esteem. I have been working in the private practice setting since 1997 and have practiced in the Jacksonville area since 2002.
