My work is primarily with thoughtful, capable women, bright and deeply feeling children, and families who are doing their best but feel stuck. From the outside, things may look steady, but internally, it can feel overwhelming or hard to manage. Women I work with are often used to being the strong one. Children may struggle with big emotions or difficulty slowing their mind or body. Families often want to better understand their child and improve connection. I help clients build insight, emotional regulation, and practical tools so life feels more steady and manageable.

Feel guilty choosing yourself over others? Twist yourself into a pretzel to be liked and accepted? Exhausted from sleepless nights of overthinking what you said or did wrong? Worry about what others think of you? I help female people-pleasers and overachievers to gain a sense of wholeness that comes from within, get in control of their mood and anxiety, overcome phobias, and have more loving and connected relationships. I also help couples to break free from the painful cycle of arguing, misunderstanding and loneliness. A relationship is like a dance. In therapy, you and your partner will learn a new way to dance with each other.

Your mind is a racing machine that you can't seem to turn off! Scary and bothersome thoughts keep popping in your mind! You try to block them but they keep comping back. You can't be fully present or really enjoy yourself because they are so loud so often! Simple tasks now take forever because you battle the urge to check or repeat things over and over. You are embarrassed that people may think you're weird! But they just don't understand what it's like to think things you don't want to think and do things you know don't always make sense. You just want the thoughts and worries to stop so you can feel like yourself again.

I integrate ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention), practical coping tools, and real-life strategies tailored to your needs and daily life.
Currently accepting new clients. You may feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, OCD, trauma, anger, ADHD, grief, or self-doubt — reacting quickly, struggling to focus, or feeling disconnected from your confidence and sense of control. Many clients come in exhausted from repeating the same patterns and unsure how to move forward. I work with individuals across Dripping Springs and Hays County who want practical support and meaningful, lasting change.

I specialize in working with adults experiencing a variety of anxiety disorders, including panic attacks, generalized anxiety, and phobias, as well as adults with ADHD. I also support clients who have difficulty regulating emotions and navigating the impact these patterns can have on relationships. Many of my clients are thoughtful, insightful, and self-aware, yet feel stuck in exhausting cycles of fear, reassurance-seeking, self-doubt, and overstimulation. You may feel like you know better, but anxiety continues to run the show. I aim to create a space where you feel understood, safe, and able to show up exactly as you are.

Overthinking isn't a personality trait and you're not "just an anxious person." Your brain got really good at overdoing it for a long time and now you’re left with a constant stream of overthinking, obsessing, and catastrophizing. You’re afraid of your intrusive thoughts and what you might do or what might happen. OCD treatment takes Pandoras box and rips it open to the highest degree. Let’s talk about the things that scare you and I’ll support you to freedom. I help people stuck in their rumination spirals, compulsions gone awry, and anxiety controlling their every move. We will build that confidence in your judgement fast.

Are you feeling overwhelmed by a world not built for your brain? I work with neurodivergent individuals of all ages, including those with ADHD, high functioning Autism or AuDHD often late-diagnosed, who are tired of 'trying harder' and ready to start 'trying differently. I provide a space where you don’t have to mask to be heard. I also help older adults distinguish between 'senior moments' and the lifelong patterns of ADHD. If retirement has removed the structure you once relied on, making it harder to stay organized or present in conversations, we can work together to find clarity.

Using EMDR, ERP, and IFS therapy, I offer a calm, supportive space to understand your patterns, heal old wounds, soothe your nervous system, and create lasting emotional freedom.
You get things done. You push through. You handle what others can’t. But lately the pressure, anxiety, and old patterns are catching up. You want more than “holding it together.” You want clarity, calm, and the freedom to stop performing and actually feel good again. You’re ready to understand what’s happening inside, break the cycles that drain you, and step into a steadier, more grounded version of yourself.

Do I need exposure and response prevention therapy?
Many clients decide to seek help for obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors when these symptoms are distressing enough to disrupt everyday life. Any thoughts or behaviors that cause friction in close relationships are also worth addressing. In addition, the client’s symptoms don’t have to be severe for them to benefit from ERP therapy.

Is exposure and response prevention therapy part of cognitive behavioral therapy?
Exposure and response prevention is one specific type of CBT that focuses on behavioral change in response to triggering stimuli. It is related to exposure therapy but adds an additional component of preventing compulsive and harmful responses.

How long does exposure and response prevention therapy take?
While every patient is different, exposure and response prevention therapy typically lasts around 12 sessions, although some treatments can take longer. A therapist will determine if the treatment is complete based on how the client faces their fears, particularly the strongest ones. When a client feels less anxiety about stimuli that once evoked terror or distress, that is generally an indication that they are nearing the end of ERP therapy.

What are the limitations of exposure and response prevention therapy?
The most common pitfalls of exposure and response prevention therapy include not addressing a client’s core fears, allowing the client to avoid their most distressing stimuli, and using imaginary exposure when the client requires real-life exposure (and vice versa). ERP therapy is most effective when the client commits to the full course of treatment; if the client stops early or doesn’t practice what they have learned outside of therapy sessions, they are less likely to have successful outcomes.
