I’m a licensed therapist who helps children, teens, and adults create an amazing life moving past their struggles in addictions, depression , anxiety and other mental health issues.
Welcome! I am a mental health counselor with Broward County Schools and have my own private practice. I take a warm, direct and nonjudgemental approach working with families and individuals. Is your child showing behavioral concerns at home or in school? Are you or someone you love struggling with addiction recovery? Are you seeing the impact your choices have made on your family? Building a strong family unit can be challenging in today’s fast paced environment. With my assistance, we can work on a plan and develop solutions on how to conquer the issues you’re facing as an individual or as a family unit.

I have worked with a wide range of clients for 30 years, including treating depression , anxiety, addiction, and trauma to name just a few.
The best thing about being a therapist is seeing the changes my clients make in their lives and in the lives of others. Whether that's developing a better understanding of problems, including their causes and solutions, healing from challenging experiences, developing exciting new goals, or just being happier, I strive to provide you with the compassion, understanding, support and guidance that you need to do just that. Therapy can be scary and challenging. But it can also open up a world of reward so congratulations for taking this step forward!

I have extensive training and experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, adolescents, families, & veterans struggling with anxiety, depression , PTSD, anger, stress management, social skills, parental coaching, trauma & overall life transitions.
The reason why I chose to touch the lives of people through therapy stemmed out of my desire to assist people with the challenges of daily living. I opened up Fruggiero Counseling Services with the intention that it would be a safe haven for you to free yourself in expressing both the worst and best moments of your life. There is difficulty in holding thoughts and feelings within, but know that my priority is to ensure you a place free of judgement; and instead a place of light and clarity, that can bring you tranquility and peace in the midst of turmoil.

As an experienced anxiety and depression therapist, I believe we all need help at times to deal with our feelings.
Is struggling with anxiety leaving you feeling empty, exhausted, and even lost at times? Life can be complicated and you might be wondering if this is going to be your life forever. You don’t understand how your life got to this point. You may not remember of a time where anxiety wasn’t part of your life. Dealing with lack of motivation, dreading making plans with friends and family, having difficulty concentrating, and avoiding taking care of yourself has led to not enjoying your life to the fullest. But one thing is for sure: you’re ready for some relief. You’re ready to cope with your worries. You’re ready to be yourself again!

Depression Therapists
Depressive disorders are characterized by persistent feelings of sadness and worthlessness and a lack of desire to engage in formerly pleasurable activities. Depression is not a passing blue mood, which almost everyone experiences from time to time, but a complex mind/body illness that interferes with everyday functioning. It not only darkens one's outlook, it is commonly marked by sleep problems and changes in energy levels and appetite. It alters the structure and function of nerve cells so that it disrupts the way the brain processes information and interprets experience.

Despite feelings of hopelessness and worthlessness, depression is a treatable condition. It can be treated with psychotherapy. As with many illnesses, the earlier treatment begins, the more effective it can be and the greater the likelihood that recurrence can be prevented.

Psychotherapy addresses the thinking patterns that precipitate depression, and studies show that it prevents recurrence. Drug therapy is often helpful in relieving symptoms, such as severe anxiety, so that people can engage in meaningful psychotherapy.
