Families seek my services to receive answers to their questions regarding their child's learning and/or behavior. Typical concerns include learning disabilities (i.e., dyslexia), giftedness, intellectual functioning, ADHD, developmental delays, and Autism. My ideal client is one who is looking for a clinician who can diagnose, consult, and collaborate to provide meaningful recommendations and resources to bridge the gap between their child's school, home, and community. Most importantly, my clients are searching for recommendations that are easily understood by school-based teams and appropriate within the school setting.

You feel like there is a huge weight on your chest. The pressure is not making it any easier to work, study, complete everyday tasks, or sleep the 8 hours we are told is so important to function optimally. You find your mind is constantly racing, playing out worst-case scenarios to events that haven’t even happened yet. Anxious thoughts are joined by physical discomfort. You might experience a knot in your stomach, and others may notice your uncontrollable tapping, finger biting, or fidgeting.

Why is my child having difficulties in school? Why is my child reading below grade level when practice reading at home every night? Why is my toddler not talking yet? What can I do if I feel my child is smart and needs more challenge at school? Why can my child not sit still for more than two minutes or follow direction? If you have found yourself asking these questions about your child, it may be time for you to consider a psychoeducational or psychological evaluation for him/her. A psychoeducational evaluation can help pinpoint why your child may be struggling and assist in determining interventions to help your child succeed.

I specialize in couples counseling, affair recovery, rebuilding trust, and increasing intimacy. It's a frustrating, vicious cycle when you keep having the same fight and are getting no where. There's a sense of detachment and the lack of intimacy between you two is growing. You don't want to feel unheard any longer. You're on edge, anxious and feel alone. You question if this is your new normal. Maybe you found out there's an affair and you don't know how to respond. You feel like the rug was just pulled out from underneath you. You want to make sense of all of this and don't know where to start.
Traumatic situations can vary from unresolved grief/loss, witnessing/experiencing a violent incident or accident, physical and sexual abuse, to betrayal in relationships. These experiences leave "imprints" on the mind and body which can leave us feeling anxious, depressed, “numb,” avoiding situations/places, unwanted memories, nightmares and guilt.
I empower high-functioning adults to overcome the struggles of anxiety. Whatever the cause of your anxiety may be, I utilize a variety of different techniques, from a holistic approach, to help you overcome these uncomfortable symptoms of anxiety. Together we will focus on you as a whole, looking at all areas and aspects of your life. I integrate nutrition, movement (yoga, pilates, aerobic exercise, and even walking), mindfulness and self-awareness to focus on the root cause of your anxiety.

Therapy is about facilitating conversations to help someone build self-awareness and healthier relationships with oneself and others. The experience of watching an individual grow beyond their current mindset of sadness, depression, feelings of hopelessness to unworthiness into an individual who truly knows and believes in their personal value is why I love therapy. To make you as comfortable as possible, we can also meet in your home. I have found that providing services in the home, when appropriate, can break down barriers and allow your natural environment to play a role in the healing process.
Are you a gen Z'er struggling with anxiety or depression? Or, maybe you're the parent of a teen who refuses to talk because "everything is fine!" Maybe you're a millennial trying to balance TikTok, being ghosted by Tinder dates, & taking selfies with your cat(s) - with going to friends' weddings & buying them baby gifts. Maybe you're trying to process the shitshow of the last 2.5 years, & how bleak the future feels. Clients I work best with describe me as perceptive, direct, no BS, curious, safe, weird, relatable, & easy to open up to.
