Welcome to Ricci Psychology! We have 5 members in our team, each with a different area of focus. My specialty areas are in cognitive -behavioral therapy for the obsessive-compulsive spectrum. While I provide traditional office-based psychotherapy, many patients require tailored treatments specific to their diagnoses. I'm highly successful treating a variety of anxiety-based disorders by offering exposure therapy in clinically relevant settings. Regardless of a patient's diagnosis, I create an individualized treatment plan to help patients reach his or her goals.

It is common to face an issue that prevents one from living his or her best life. My goal is to help you identify and change early programming and to remove cognitive and emotional blocks. Such blocks cause one to be stagnant and prevent one from elevating to the next level. In addition to working with high net worth executives and entertainers, I enjoy serving clients struggling with anxiety, eating disorders, addiction, trauma, depression, and chronic medical conditions. I also provide coaching in separation and divorce.

I offer Insight Oriented therapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Psychodrama, Gestalt, and for those interested in the unconscious, Psychoanalysis.
Are you looking for exceptional therapy? Are you finding it difficult to call? It is sometimes not easy to take the first step toward beginning therapy. For some it is about having thought they could do it themselves, for others they think it is a sign of weakness, and yet others sometimes worry about using therapy as a crutch. Then there are those who can hardly wait to begin, perhaps begin again, with a new and different therapist, eager to enter the journey of self discovery and self improvement. All this is normal. Either way, you will feel understood and cared for.

My passion is individualizing science and holistic practices such as talk based therapy using CBT , DBT, yoga, mindfulness and other holistic tools to treat the whole person.
It takes courage to ask for help and I'm so glad you're here. Overdose, substance use and mental health symptoms are up more than 30 percent and are said to be the hidden pandemic. Wherever you are on that spectrum we are all a little overwhelmed. When all you want is peace and relief from pain and maybe a little hope that things can get better, I am here. I know sometimes it can be hard to see a way out when you're in the middle of your addiction, your anxiety, your trauma so let me see the way for you.

Do you find it difficult to ask for help? Asking for assistance doesn't equate to weakness, it's actually a strength! As an African American / Caribean counselor I am able to serve my community with relatable shared experiences. I pride myself on encouraging my clients to see and be the light that is already within them. I use an integrative approach in that each individual is unique and processes thoughts differently. Mindfulness-based CBT allows clients to find peace within themselves through grounding. This heightened awareness of self enables us to live in accordance with our values even in the face of opposition.

Do you want to heal from past traumatic events and losses? The last few years have been stressful for many. You may have felt scared, isolated, or helpless. You might have been unable to get support from other humans in the usual ways. Your normal ways of coping might have felt inadequate with the new stress, which might interfere with your ability to attend work or school, or relate well to others. If you struggle with depression, grief, posttraumatic stress or anxiety, I can help you reconnect lovingly with yourself and others. You are not alone, even if it feels that way sometimes. I am licensed in CA and FL.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) Therapists
Cognitive-behavioral therapy stresses the role of thinking in how we feel and what we do. It is based on the belief that thoughts, rather than people or events, cause our negative feelings. The therapist assists the client in identifying, testing the reality of, and correcting dysfunctional beliefs underlying his or her thinking. The therapist then helps the client modify those thoughts and the behaviors that flow from them. CBT is a structured collaboration between therapist and client and often calls for homework assignments.
