Hi! My name is Bobbi Barber. I'm a mental health professional with a strong background in various therapeutic approaches. My expertise includes ABA, Mindfulness, ACT, CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and internal family systems. I am certified in Gottman Level 1 and Prepare/Enriched certified. My clinical practice focuses on supporting teens and adults facing emotional conflicts, harmful behavior patterns, self-harm tendencies, body-focused repetitive behaviors, and interpersonal conflict resolution.

I am a Florida Licensed Clinical Psychologist. I received my doctoral degree in 1991 from the School of Psychology at The Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, FL. I have 20+ years of experience serving a broad range of populations to include children, adolescents, adults, and seniors within inpatient, outpatient, school, assisted living/rehab. centers, and military mental health care settings. I currently provide outpatient psychological services and consultation at my private practice office in Oviedo. I also provide on-site consultation at various local schools and rehabilitation centers, and volunteer services through the Outreach Ministry at my home church.

I will support you during sessions so that you better understand how you experience life, resulting in feeling more comfortable as you approach challenges. I work with adults, teens, and children. I have spent my career learning how to find the best approach that feels right for each person. For adults this often includes getting to know yourself better with increased compassion. For children, I support learning new ways to reduce childhood stressors and acting out behaviors, often through play. This results in positive feelings between parents and their children.
