I collaborate with each person to evaluate his or her needs carefully, and tailor therapy to that individual. For some people brief therapy is best, for others it takes longer.

Recent research indicates that anxiety, depression, and relationship problems are associated to being raised in a difficult environment or being subjected to trauma (Bessel, 2014). We tend to think that trauma only happens to war veterans or victims of assault. However, being raised in an unpredictable home, exposed to constant stress or being harshly punished, etc. can have a life-long impact.

It was there that I first developed a passion for helping children.
