He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. During my third year of service, I became injured at Officers Candidate School and realized that I needed to develop my counseling skills so I worked with an agency that counseled teens regarding their addiction.
