Trauma is linked to anxiety, depression, and relationship problems (Bessel, 2021). We tend to think that trauma only happens to war veterans or victims of assault. However, being raised in an unpredictable home, difficult relationship with parents, or exposed to stress etc. can have a life-long impact. People can feel hesitant about seeking treatment for trauma because it can open a door to feeling overwhelmed. However, this is not the case with the therapy I provide, Somatic Experiencing, a therapy that takes years to be trained on.

I use modalities such as EMDR and somatic psychotherapy to help clients dig deeper in their healing and finally learn how to reintroduce wholeness back into their lives.
I believe that true emotional healing comes through holistically tending to the body, mind and spirit. I offer full range psychotherapy services that I combine with several Somatic or body-based techniques. As a registered Yoga Teacher, I have been known to incorporate meditation, breathing or physical postures in my sessions. The research shows that trauma, grief and the after effects of some of our experiences are stored in our bodies. What better way to heal or release them from our bodies than to intentionally use body exercises to move this harmful trauma energy out for good. I work with new mothers, children and families.

I became a therapist because I enjoy helping others, and service is one of my top values. Honoring my values allows me to honor my authentic self. Working as a therapist gives my life meaning, purpose, and direction. At NOCD, my team and I specialize in providing evidence-based treatment for people with OCD. Our deep understanding of the nuances of OCD enables us to properly diagnose and treat it. We have received training in Exposure Response and Prevention Therapy (ERP)—the gold standard treatment for OCD. When you start with NOCD, you’ll either work with me or be paired with one of my colleagues, depending on your preferences.

I use trauma-informed care, EMDR, CBT, and eclectic therapy to support growth and self-trust.
My ideal client feels stuck between who they’ve been and who they want to be. They’re navigating anxiety, self-doubt, relationship struggles, or trauma—and they’re tired of doing it alone. They’re often the ones others rely on, but rarely have space for themselves. They want clarity, peace, and more authentic connection. They don’t need fixing—they need a place to be seen, supported, and gently challenged. Together, we work to untangle what’s holding them back so they can live with more freedom and self-trust.

Are you a college student, young professional, or new mom who feels constantly anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in your own thoughts? You may look capable and high-functioning on the outside, but inside you’re overthinking everything — replaying conversations, worrying about the future, or battling intrusive thoughts you can’t shut off. You might be navigating career pressure, dating, infertility, pregnancy, or postpartum changes while trying to “hold it all together.” Anxiety, perfectionism, or OCD can make even small decisions feel exhausting. It doesn’t have to be this hard.

I believe meaningful change for children begins in a safe, accepting, and trusting relationship. My work is grounded in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), which honors play as a child’s natural language and provides a developmentally appropriate way for children to express emotions, experiences, and challenges that may be difficult to put into words. I strive to create a calm, nurturing space where children feel seen, valued, and free to lead at their own pace. In play therapy sessions, children are invited to express themselves through play, creativity, and imagination while I provide attuned presence, reflection, and support.

I primarily use a somatic, trauma-sensitive approach alongside powerful modalities like EMDR, Breathwork, Mindfulness, Reiki, Energy Healing, Parts-Work, Inner Child Work, and more to help you reset your nervous system, reprogram your subconscious mind, transform past trauma into wisdom, and cultivate greater compassion and self-love.
Do you at times feel misunderstood, insecure, and overwhelmed? Disconnected from yourself or the people you love? Life can feel chaotic when we get stuck in old negative patterns. And the conflicts in our relationships can leave us feeling anxious and unsure what to do. Deep down, you may recognize there is past trauma, but you don't know how to release it. Maybe you have tried talk therapy to gain understanding, yet the wounds seem deeply entrenched in your body. Sometimes you worry that you will never fully heal. And yet you know, deep in your heart, that more is possible for you...

I’m trained in EMDR ( EMDRIA-approved), Internal Family Systems (Level 2), and TF-CBT.
My ideal clients are ambitious adults who feel plateaued or stuck in their work, relationships, or healing journey. On the surface life looks solid, but anxiety killing your focus, old wounds are draining your energy, and your childhood keeps showing up in your relationships. At the same time you're struggling with perfectionism, people pleasing or imposter syndrome. You’ve come far on talent and drive, but the strategies that you've used to protect and propel you are now holding you back. You always say it, but everything's not ok.
