Trained in CBT, DBT, and solution focused modalities, I help women create lasting change, feel calm, and confident.
Even when you're not actively working, there’s a constant mental checklist running in your mind. You leave a meeting and instantly replay everything you said — analyzing your tone, your wording, your behavior — wondering how you were perceived. You hold yourself to a standard that feels impossible to sustain, yet slowing down doesn’t feel like an option. It doesn’t have to stay this way—you can learn to quiet your mind, build confidence from within, and feel more peace without sacrificing your ambition. Imagine finally trusting yourself, saying "no" more often and creating space for joy, confidence, and calm in your daily life.

I employ various techniques such as CBT, interpersonal therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, psychodynamic therapy, psychoanalysis, supportive therapy, animal-assisted therapy, creative arts therapy, and play therapy.
My path to becoming a therapist emerged from an innate way of relating to people. I have always been deeply interested in human behavior, emotional worlds, and the stories we carry. Over time, this natural curiosity became a calling to support others through healing, self-discovery, and transformation. I view therapy as both a science and an art, where structure and creativity work together to foster meaningful and lasting change.I believe healing is not about fixing what is broken, but about reconnecting with what is already alive within you. Therapy is a space to explore, create, and grow toward a life that feels more grounded.

I have always had a passion for creating positive change in those around me. I have worked with adults and have always encouraged those to create a vision that inspires them to stay the course no matter how difficult. One of my very favorite quotes are “Write the vision, make it plain.” – Habakkuk 2:2. I always remind my patients that a written vision gives you the correct directions and coordinates you need to follow to get to your desired destination. It gives you the inspiration and motivation you need to push through life’s toughest challenges.

Integrating CBT, DBT skills, psychodynamic principles, and solution-focused strategies, our work is individualized to align with your therapeutic goals and evolving needs.
Quiet struggles can become powerful catalysts for growth—shaping meaningful change in ways we may not expect. I work with adults of all ages who are navigating life transitions or stagnations, negative thought and behavioral patterns, anxiety, unresolved trauma and loss, family conflicts, or who are simply feeling disconnected from who they are and their goals. Many of my clients appear capable and accomplished on the outside, yet internally carry a sense of anxiety, self-doubt, or self-criticism. Drawing from EMDR, CBT, and psychodynamic approaches, we work together to slow down, reflect, and shift what’s no longer serving you.

I use proven modalities like CBT, DBT, EMDR, IFS, and somatic therapy, to help with deep transformation.
You’ve been doing everything “right,” and still feel off. You’re smart, self-aware, and incredibly successful from the outside — but on the inside? You’re overwhelmed, stuck in anxious thoughts, feeling disconnected in your relationships, and burned out from always pushing through in your career. You’re tired of carrying so much on your own, and ready for something to actually help. Therapy doesn’t have to feel clinical or cold. In my work, it’s collaborative, empowering, and deeply healing.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT) Therapists
Who is DBT for?
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is designed for people who experience extreme emotional suffering because they lack the skills of emotion regulation and distress tolerance. The basic affliction can underlie a wide range of conditions, from borderline and other personality disorders to PTSD and treatment-resistant anxiety and depression. The therapy is helpful to those whose emotional reactivity is so intense it is disruptive to everyday functioning and leads to frequent crises.

Why do people need DBT?
The ability to regulate emotions is a core psychological skill that enables people to function in life and pay attention to the world outside themselves; it is consistently associated with well-being. DBT is designed to help people learn how to manage and regulate their emotions. Originally developed to treat people with borderline personality disorder whose extreme emotional suffering led to self-harming behavior and suicide attempts, the therapy is now applied to other conditions involving emotion dysregulation, particularly when other treatments have failed.

What happens in DBT?
Individuals meet weekly with their therapist to discuss their experiences relating to moods, behavior, and skills. Using checklists they maintain, they review emotional experiences and positive practices they engage in. The diaries help individuals discern what led up to a specific problem encountered, this is followed by discussion of the consequences of their actions. In addition, individuals may meet in class-like small groups to learn skills such as mindfulness, emotion regulation and distress tolerance.

How long does DBT last?
Because it is intended to establish long-lasting behavioral change among those with persistent problems, DBT is designed to last six months to a year. DBT includes both weekly sessions of individual therapy and weekly skills-training sessions conducted in small groups. Studies of DBT have documented improvement within a year of treatment, particularly in controlling self-harmful behavior; nevertheless, individuals may require therapy for several years.
