I approach each client as their own unique self and tackle the presenting questions & issues together with the client. The therapeutic experience can be very daunting and challenging, yet at the same time it offers such wonderful benefits to live a life of wellness and happiness. I feel that the therapeutic experience doesn't just end with the session. I believe the therapy is aimed at bringing that knowledge into your very way of living and your interpersonal relationships. I offer office or a skype online option for sessions. I have work with adults, children, adolescent teens, new mothers & couples.

What keeps you up at night? What keeps you from being successful? I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, OCD, panic, phobias, health issues, sleep, teen issues, break-ups, and more.
I help you gain control over difficult issues QUICKLY to feel happier, healthier, and more fulfilled. First, we need the right understanding of the issue ... then I use research-based approaches to maximize benefit in as few sessions as possible. Many of my clients are high-functioning, working professionals who are experiencing symptoms they just can't shake -- we work together to solve that and get you back to feeling good in your life. I am private pay, meaning I don't take insurance up front, but do take HSA/FSA cards and help with insurance reimbursement. Even just 1 session of good therapy should feel very helpful.

Welcome! I pride myself in providing child & adolescent specific care that heavily emphasizes family engagement. I find more optimal outcomes in my work when parents are willing to become vulnerable and connect with their children. Too often, we become focused on what children are not doing right and on their pathology that we lose sight of the things they are good at and the things that make them precious and unique. I teach parents how to harness their children's strengths to aid them in overcoming their struggles. The heart of this work lies in connection. If a child does not feel connected and safe, they will not heal.

Teen Therapists
Adolescence can be a time of both disorientation and discovery. The transitional period can raise questions of independence and identity; as adolescents cultivate their sense of self, they may face difficult choices about academics, friendship, sexuality, gender identity, drugs, and alcohol.

Most teens have a relatively egocentric perspective on life; a state of mind that usually abates with age. They often focus on themselves and believe that everyone else—from a best friend to a distant crush—is focused on them too. They may grapple with insecurities and feelings of being judged. Relationships with family members often take a backseat to peer groups, romantic interests, and appearance, which teens perceive as increasingly important during this time.

The transition can naturally lead to anxiety about physical development, evolving relationships with others, and one's place in the larger world. Mild anxiety and other challenges are typical, but serious mental health conditions also emerge during adolescence. Finding a teen therapist in Miami Beach and addressing a disorder early on can help ensure the best possible outcome.
