We use IFS to explore what's underneath, and Brainspotting when talk alone doesn't reach it.
Maybe it's food - you've been the "picky eater" your whole life, or you're raising one now and don't know where to turn or who to trust. Maybe it's your body, and that inner critic that never quits: replaying yesterday, insisting you're not doing enough, not good enough, not small enough. From the outside you might look fine. Underneath, you're exhausted - from picking yourself apart, from managing every meal, from just trying to hold it all together. In our work together, we'll get curious about where that voice came from (hint: it's not your fault), and find what actually feels workable - with food, with your body, with yourself.

I am a Certified Brainspotting Practitioner and Consultant with a spiritual foundation, both of which will help propel your healing and expanded perspective on life!
We are all here to evolve into more conscious, responsible individuals. Mental health issues arise when we are out of alignment with what is happening within and around us. As we embrace and adjust to our life situations, working through our disappointments and broken expectations, our equilibrium is restored. We feel stronger and more capable to accept what is in front of us to do, with new peace, joy, and wisdom.

I help people who are tired of surviving and tired of repeating the same patterns they can’t seem to change on their own. My style is warm, steady, and deeply present. Nothing in you is “too much.” Using EMDR, parts work, and early-trauma healing, we explore the roots of old behaviors and strengthen the adult self within you. You don’t have to do this alone. Together, we move at a compassionate pace toward the grounded, connected life you’ve been longing for.

I utilize compassionate focusing, somatic exercises, bilateral stimulation, brainspotting and guided imagery to create a "home" within yourself free of emotional clutter.
Welcome! Growing up with narcissistic parents, we become creative at finding ways to avoid their criticism, rejection or abandonment. These solutions often become our symptoms in adult life. Maybe you feel anxious, don’t know what you need, what you feel or who you are. Maybe you have a relentless inner critic, self-doubt or rumination on the past or future. Maybe you find yourself constantly busy, unable to rest. Maybe you can't stop taking care of others at your own detriment. Maybe you feel guilty asserting yourself, fear being alone, or fear getting close to others. Maybe you lie or manipulate to get your needs met.

I weave together my clinical training including EMDR, BrainSpotting, IFS and Emotionally Focused Therapy, with training in somatic practices, breath work and energy work.
Do you ever feel like "too much," or never quite enough in the relationships that matter most? Maybe you long to feel connected with your partner but keep landing in the same painful cycle: one reaching, the other pulling away. Maybe past trauma left you bracing for disconnection. When pain runs this deep, insight alone rarely shifts it. These patterns formed early, in the body and nervous system, before we had words. I work at that level, somatic and attachment-based, so change holds. I'm non-judgmental, intuitive, and not afraid of deep work or hard truths. Whatever you bring is welcome, all of it.

Maybe you've been recently diagnosed with a long term illness or you've had symptoms for years and you don’t recognize yourself anymore. You know these health struggles are somehow behind your depressed and anxious feelings, and you feel alone…like no one understands. Right now, you may have more questions than answers, but one thing you know for sure is that you’d do anything to get your life back. You grieve for the person you used to be and find it hard to imagine yourself living a worthwhile life with this illness trying to drag you down every chance it gets. (Please note, I ONLY accept clients with chronic illness concerns)

I use Brainspotting, CBT, and trauma-informed therapy, often integrating body-based work to support deeper healing.
I work with individuals and couples who want to better understand themselves, their relationships, and patterns that may be keeping them stuck. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, navigating life transitions, relationship stress, trauma, or anxiety. Others feel disconnected from themselves and want a space to slow down and talk openly without judgment. I provide a calm, supportive, and collaborative environment where we build insight, strengthen communication, and work toward lasting change with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional balance.

On most days, do you feel like you're just going through the motions? Maybe you’ve reached a point where you feel emotionally numb, disconnected from yourself and those closest to you. You want more, but if you’re honest, you aren’t fully sure what more is… you just know that THIS isn’t it. You desire deeper connection, but at the same time you’re afraid of it. You might be wondering: what will happen if I allow them to see the real me? Will they judge me? Reject me? Accept me? Though these are some of your deepest fears, you’d never dare say them out loud. If this sounds like you, I see you, and I’m glad you’re here.

Let me guess, people say you’re funny, strong & resilient. Holding everything together even when you’re unravelling inside, self-aware but your thoughts still spiral and sometimes you feel far away from everything, even yourself. You joke and brush things off but feeling safe and comfortable with yourself feels out of reach, always one step away from burning out. If you’re tired of feeling like your brain is your enemy, tired of just joking and pretending you’re fine; you’ve come to the right place. You’re ready to rest without guilt, to exist without constantly proving your worth, to trust yourself again.

Do any of these scenarios resonate? You’re the one who always shows up. The one who checks in on everyone else, making sure they’re okay while quietly carrying the weight of your own worries. You replay conversations in your mind, wondering, "Did I say that right?" You overthink texts, second-guess decisions, and feel the constant pull between wanting to be there for others and needing a moment to just breathe. Relationships feel difficult to navigate. Maybe you’re a professional stuck in the cycle of what-if thoughts and self-doubt, or a college student who feels the pressure of trying to balance academics with a social life.

Brainspotting Therapists
How does brainspotting work?
Brainspotting works by using eye positioning to identify and process traumatic memories so that a client is better able to move forward and live with less fear. The theory behind brainspotting is that by identifying where a person looks when thinking of traumatic memories, a therapist will be able to guide them to focus on that spot and work with the client to get them out of the “fight, flight, freeze” response associated with the traumatic memory.

Is brainspotting an evidence-based therapy?
Brainspotting is a theory-based alternative therapy. It is one of the newest forms of treatment, so very little research has been completed that examines the mechanism by which it works. The theory behind brainspotting is that eye position can be linked to areas of the brain that store and process memory.

How effective is brainspotting?
Because it is such a new treatment, the effectiveness of brainspotting cannot be quantified. Some people have found it to be effective on its own, or in conjunction with other types of therapy. It is considered an alternative therapy, and it is popular with people for whom more traditional therapies have proven ineffective.

How long does brainspotting take to work?
A typical brainspotting session will last between 60 to 90 minutes. There is no required number of sessions needed to complete brainspotting therapy, but in many cases it is delivered over the course of about six sessions. Clients are encouraged to rate their level of distress prior to a session and again following a session, and to track progress.
