Media & societal pressures have conditioned us to hate ourselves and our appearance. We speak to ourselves as if we are the bully and the victim. The only hope we have is to alter our appearance, until we realize that doesn’t help how we view ourselves. My experience is with people who struggle from eating disorders, OCD, body image, gender dysphoria , trauma, and co-occurring diagnoses. My heart goes out to those who are disillusioned about their lack of worth. In struggling with my own body image, learning to love myself was a huge transition. This journey prepared me to help others along with their own self-worth challenges.

Getting the help they need can help enhance their overall well-being and quality of life which could also help their performance in their respective sport. Some issues affecting student athletes are performance and perfectionism, burnout, meeting high expectations, fear of injury, returning from injury, pressure to go professional, performance anxiety, family problems, and team conflicts.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor which has successfully worked with all lifestyles. Since 1991 I've studied C.G. Jung's work. During this 32-year period, I have participated in workshops and lectures in Jungian psychology from Zurich, Switzerland to South Florida. I help clients resolve psychological roadblocks, conflicts and trauma. Jungian psychology works with the deepest layers of the unconscious psyche and engages clients in a process of transformation that goes well beyond symptom relief, resulting in optimal growth.
