I create a safe and trusting space, so my clients feel free to discuss any type of concern. I believe therapy is a collaborative partnership, where great transformation can take place when one is ready. It takes courage to make that first step, but once you do, you will begin to create positive change in your life, feel better about yourself and the one's you love. Being a kid is hard. Being a teenager is hard. Kids and teenagers are facing challenges that generations before them did not face and at the same time facing challenges that are without generation, experiences and challenges that are common developmental human experiences. Being a teen or young adult right now is very different then being one even just a few years ago. My passion is working with young people to build skills whether social or academic that help bring calm, confidence, and peace into their lives. My goal is to empower young people to self-advocate and use their personal strengths to create a life that is full of joy and self-acceptance. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with 15 years of professional work experience. I am a dedicated and passionate counselor with the goal of healing and empowering individuals to make positive lifestyle changes, discover new ways of employing positive coping skills and help in the process of the transitions through their path of healing and personal growth.

I am a License Mental Health Counselor. I received my Bachelor's degrees in Psychology at the Javeriana University in Bogota (Colombia), and my Master's at Stetson University (Florida). I hold a National Certified Counselor certification. I have more than twenty years of experience working with adults in the field of Wellness and treatment protocol particularly in anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and major disorders. My practice focuses on promoting developing and personal growth seeking to encourage integral wellness.

Life gets though sometimes. I help teenagers, adults and couples in a confidential setting online and in the office. Evening hours are offered 3 days a week and counseling is offered in English and Spanish. I have worked intensively in the areas of Stress, relationship issues, adjustment, trauma, emotional intelligence, depression and anxiety. I have been providing therapeutic services for over 20 years as a Social-Community Psychologist in Puerto Rico and as a Mental Health Counselor in Orlando, Florida.
