My name is Danielle Bloch Beatt, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Sarasota, Florida. I am passionate about helping people navigate the emotional challenges in their lives in a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental way. As our lives have become increasingly complex, more and more we are becoming anxious, depressed, lonely, and confused about how to navigate relationships. I love working with young adults and people in transitional phases of life. Major life changes such as college graduation, taking a new job, having a baby, or moving to a new city can be especially stressful.

I specialize in Rumination-Focused ERP for OCD. This approach to ERP focuses on treating compulsive rumination, and provides a highly systematic yet gentler approach to exposure therapy. RF-ERP can be helpful to patients who have not made significant progress in other types of treatment, including individuals with Pure O or Sensorimotor OCD. I also believe in the importance of treating the emotional dynamics that underlie OCD symptoms. I therefore integrate psychoanalytic treatment within and alongside ERP, to foster deeper and more lasting change than ERP alone can offer.

Hello there, I wish to greet you as you walk the path for a kinder tomorrow & self-actualization. Oftentimes, tomorrows can be overwhelming; filled with both potentials and uncertainty. I view tomorrows as a garden that needs tending in the present so the most lush tomorrows can grow. Gardens require emotional work that you may be unable to do alone for any number of reasons. This is why I offer my assistance. Not as a head gardener telling you what to do, or staff blindly following you, but as a comforting presence at your side to help you walk through your path and plants seeds for your desired tomorrows

For some, therapy provides a space to address an acute crisis, chronic symptoms or to expand awareness of oneself and sometimes a mix of all three. I believe therapy is most impactful when it is tailored to each person’s unique needs and concerns. This looks different for everyone and might even look different throughout your journey. Good therapy can help you to make the changes you have been struggling with, identify the patterns that might be holding you back and ultimately help you to create a more fulfilling life.

Or life stressors like children, work, finances, mental health, have eroded your bond. You deeply desire feeling close and safe with each other but attempts to communicate fall flat. But you’re ready to make a change. You’re ready to invest in the future of your relationship and feel like a team ready to take on life’s challenges together. I want to help you get there.

I am a Jacksonville native and have been counseling for 20 years. Counseling is a calling and I consider it a privilege to work with individuals, families, and young adults towards the goal of enhancing their lives. Both my practice and lifestyle are a reflection of my belief in the value of fun, health, and balance. My practice is located in a beautiful two-story historic home in the Riverside/Five Points area. My 'office' is one of several independent practices in the home, and is a comfortable, warm, and private space for us to do good work.
