I always look forward to working with individuals who are motivated for self growth and change. The hardest and most courageous thing that a potential client can do is to reach out for counseling services and admit to themselves, "I think it might be time for some help." Expressing such a need can be a very vulnerable experience to someone, and one which I take very seriously. Thus, when we work together my job is to guide you towards meeting your goals, whatever they are. I believe we are all seeking peace, happiness and love in some shape or form. So let's work together to make those goals an attainable reality.

Walking between the worlds… at the intersection of traditional therapy & a deep dive into soul level discovery. Hello and welcome. I treat trauma responses such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and self-doubt as spiritual disconnects. This is a body-mind-spirit holistic approach using altered states of consciousness for self-awareness & healing. If you choose to work together, we may use hypnotherapy, EFT, Self-Reiki &/or mindfulness with talk therapy to weave a specialized treatment plan for you. We will integrate somatic therapy to honor the wisdom of your body & uncover stored memories to support desired change.

Do you feel like you are the caretaker? The hero? The rescuer? Do you have to be the strong one? The one who everyone turns to, but has no one to turn to themselves? Do you witness the unimaginable and have to “carry on” to save the next life? You are not alone. I help clients learn how to live with their experiences, set and hold appropriate boundaries, build healthy relationships, gain stability, and learn skills to manage their emotions in a healthy way. I provide a safe and supportive place for those who feel they can’t talk about their experiences because no one else can understand.

My background is rooted in community-based social work, addiction treatment, and the intersection of therapy and spirituality.
Somewhere along the way our intuition is often turned down and replaced with self-limiting beliefs- a result of messages from childhood, traumatic experiences, and exposure to stressors in our environment. I believe that the disconnection from our true self is the root of much of our pain and leads to relationship challenges, low self worth, poor boundaries, and the influx of depression and anxiety we see in our modern world. I believe that all of the strengths and resources we need to do this work are within us, and I view my role as a therapist to support and witness you in discovering and embodying these resources.

Do you feel disconnected from your friends, family and self? Do you struggle with making decisions and feel as though time is slipping away from you? This is commonplace in our society as we are constantly being pulled in different directions by the demands of our world. I value the power of integrating one's mental, physical, and spiritual self into daily living so that we find purpose and happiness in the moment, regardless of the activity, and begin the process of recognizing what choices we have in our power to create the life that we find meaningful.

If you’re feeling worn out from always being the strong one, stuck in patterns of people-pleasing, or carrying the weight of past trauma, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to keep doing it all by yourself. I help adults heal from PTSD, burnout, codependency, people-pleasing, and spiritual or sexual trauma, so they can finally feel safe, confident, and at peace in their own skin. In our work together, you’ll learn practical tools to calm your mind, set healthy boundaries that actually stick, and rebuild a sense of trust—in yourself and in others. My style is down-to-earth, compassionate, and real.

I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Community Counseling and Education with a specialization in Marriage and Family. This is a result of my personal life experiences of working in the Department of Corrections and witnessing young men and women who are incarcerated due to poor choices. This would challenge me to develop curricula that are therapeutic and spiritual for the entire family. These services will provide applicable education, healing, and coping skills to allow individuals to self-regulate when facing life challenges.

Finding yourself and reclaiming your identity/ spirituality after abuse/trauma/hurt can be emotional and confusing, but I would be honored to walk with you through this process.
Is 2026 the year you come back to yourself and heal your inner child? Past trauma/abuse/neglect can leave you with self-doubt and keep you struggling in relationships. Current stress can also trigger past hurts, leaving you feeling overwhelmed and unsure how to move forward. Whether you are leaving a spiritually abusive environment, wanting to heal from childhood abuse/neglect, or leaving a bad relationship, I would love to come alongside you. As trauma affects our mind, body, and spirit, it's important that my clients feel safe to bring their whole selves to therapy; crying, cussing, screaming are all welcome.

Spirituality Therapists
What should I expect from therapy that incorporates a focus on spirituality?
Spirituality can mean different things to different individuals, depending on their experiences, beliefs, and life histories. Some individuals focus on strengthening their belief system, while others experience spirituality in secular ways, such as through meditation, yoga, or by spending time in nature. Clients can expect a therapist to help guide and grow their spirituality through any of these techniques, encouraging the individual to cope with the challenges they face and develop strategies to build resilience and purpose to improve their outlook in life.

What are the most common treatments that include spirituality?
There are several treatments that incorporate spirituality. Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) helps a person examine and reframe their negative thoughts and behaviors. Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) focuses on emotional acceptance and psychological flexibility. Existential therapy is most often used to address anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness, apathy, despair, questions of identity, and feelings of purposelessness and existential dread. Transpersonal therapy focuses on a client’s spirituality and meaning in life and may incorporate techniques including meditation, visualization, hypnotherapy, dream analysis, and or breathwork.

Can therapy incorporating spirituality help atheistic or agnostic individuals?
Yes. For non-believers, spirituality can offer benefits including a greater sense of connection to others and to the natural world. An interest in spirituality may also spur individuals to pursue mindfulness practices, or to contemplate their purpose in life and how to achieve it.

How effective is spirituality as a therapeutic remedy?
Research suggests spirituality is generally beneficial for individuals. It is correlated with better health habits, such as less substance use, and an improved capacity to cope with stress and other mental health challenges. Increased spirituality can lead individuals to become more empathic and less materialistic, as well.
