With parents, I help them break the cycle, empowering families to raise children through connection & respect, instead of fear & control tactics.
Do you find yourself struggling to connect in your relationships, no matter what you do? Are you fed up with feeling anxious and unworthy, doubting if anyone sees the real you or would love you if they did? You might not remember a time when you didn't feel this way. Often these feelings started in our early relationships and it becomes a cycle that repeats with every new person we get close to. It even bleeds into raising a family when you had every intention of giving your kids a better life. Right now, you are ready to break that cycle, to get your needs met without sacrificing connection and closeness. Most of all, to feel safe.

I’m a mother, a spouse, and a therapist who shows up with warmth, openness, and a whole lot of heart. I’m nurturing by nature and believe people heal best when they feel safe, seen, and not judged. I always bring an open mind, a grounded presence, and a real-life understanding that being human is beautiful, messy, and sometimes a lot.

I work with adults and parents dealing with anxiety and depression who are tired of feeling this way and want things to actually change.
I use CBT, DBT, and a client-centered approach to help you understand what’s really going on and learn tools you can actually use. We’ll slow things down, figure out your patterns, and work on responding differently instead of just reacting.

You’re not broken. Your mind’s just been responding to data in ways that no longer serve you. I work with people dealing with anxiety, depression, attention difficulties, and feeling stuck when it comes to goals. My focus is on helping you make intentional choices that align with who you actually are—not who trauma, pressure, or fear tried to shape you into.

Parenting Therapists
What does therapy for parenting look like?
Therapists may work with parents individually, together, or include the whole family to find solutions for the problems a parent faces. Many parent-based therapies work on a parent’s relationship with their children, problem-solving within the family, and analysis of family dynamics. Therapy conducted remotely by video may be helpful in allowing a therapist to observe how families interact in their own homes.

When should a parent seek therapy?
When behavioral problems begin to disrupt the healthy functioning of a family, it may be a good time to look into therapy. If parents find that children are acting out in school, have started using drugs or alcohol, have developed eating disorders, or other similar red flags, a therapist may be able to help.

How long does therapy take for parenting problems?
Depending on the severity of a family’s challenges and the type of treatment utilized, therapy for parenting can last from weeks to months. Cognitive behavioral therapy is a pragmatic therapy type that can be brief, most often ranging from between 5 and 20 sessions. Structural family therapy, which inspects family dynamics, often takes several months. Parent-child interaction therapy is typically shorter-term, lasting between 10 and 20 sessions. For any therapy, the duration will depend on the progress made and results realized.

Can therapy help parents dealing with burnout or stress?
Parenting is difficult. Parents may dismiss or conceal feelings of exhaustion, overwhelm, or escape ideation—imagining withdrawing from their parental obligations altogether. but left unattended, these feelings can have negative effects on the whole family. A therapist can help parents work on the skills they might need to better cope with the burdens of parenting and help them be the best parents they can be.
