Main focus on sexual addiction, porn, and trauma betrayal
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming and very difficult. Relationships can be the source of much joy, but also much pain. Combine that with depression, loss, or grief and you have one toxic mix which contributes to issues of one's health and wellness.Talking about your problems with a non-judgmental, understanding, and caring professional can help with life's questions, pain, and problems. One's identity is the most important thing to carry through life; and when it is buried underneath mounds of culture, gender, sexuality, family, job, religion, expectations, and responsibilities; you don't know where your identity begins

You’re committed to your partner, but the trust and closeness you once shared feel out of reach. Communication has become tense or distant, and every attempt to connect seems to end in misunderstanding or arguments. You both want to be understood and valued, but somewhere along the way, it’s felt harder to meet in the middle and disconnect has grown.... I help couples break these painful patterns — to rebuild trust, communicate with understanding, and feel like a team again. Together, we’ll slow things down, uncover what’s really driving the disconnection, and begin creating moments of closeness that feel genuine and lasting.

In my practice, I work with people dealing with anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. Many come in feeling worn down—tired of constant worry, low moods, or the same arguments that never seem to get resolved. My goal is to provide a steady, supportive space where we can sort through what’s been happening and find practical ways to move toward relief and steadier ground.

One of the most profound determinants of how we experience our lives is how we feel about ourselves–our sense of worthiness. The story (our narrative) we tell ourselves is reinforced for better, or for worse. The health of our relationship, the one with ourselves, often dictates the health of our relationship with others. We all have the innate capacity to grow and change, to be resilient in the face of challenges, and to be empowered to change patterns of behavior and relationship that no longer serve us.

Infidelity Therapists

How does therapy for infidelity work?

A skilled infidelity therapist will provide a safe space for clients to communicate their feelings and concerns. The goal is to be completely honest about what led to the cheating and how it has affected the entire family to prevent it from recurring in the future. The therapist will help the clients work on rebuilding mutual trust and respect and developing better communication and conflict-resolution skills. If the goal is to remain a couple, clients will learn the “danger signs” for their specific relationship, and they will make a renewed commitment to be faithful.

How long does therapy for infidelity take?

Recovery from infidelity can take time, and it can vary from person to person. Generally, a therapist will want to see the clients at least once a week for around six months. Then the sessions can be arranged as needed, depending on the clients’ individual needs. While therapy may end or shift to an as-needed basis, it can take up to two years or more for some clients to fully recover from infidelity.

How does therapy help the partner who was cheated on?

When a client discovers their partner’s infidelity, their trust in the relationship and in the life they had together may be shattered. They often experience mental health symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They don’t always want to stay in the relationship; they may feel ambivalent or may even want to leave. Therapy gives these clients a safe and healthy way to communicate all of their complicated emotions and concerns.

How does therapy help the partner who committed infidelity?

Infidelity often occurs when one or both partners’ emotional needs are not being met in the relationship. Therapy can help this client understand why they cheated and figure out how to address those unmet needs without resorting to infidelity in the future. This can lessen (but not entirely eliminate) the risk of repeated infidelity. Clients who cheat may also feel intense guilt about deceiving their partners, a sentiment that they can work through in therapy.
