I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy.
If your goal is to overcome the negative effects of trauma on your life and relationships, I may be the therapist for you. One of my greatest joys as a therapist is working with members of diverse communities to be the best version of themselves. I believe that we can best heal and grow through emotional intelligence, self-mastery, and understanding of how our cultural background and life circumstances have impacted our life outlook. I have helped many people over the years establish a stronger sense of self-esteem and life direction.

I draw on several treatment modalities (including, but not limited to, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy) to allow you to further develop your strengths and help you meet all of your treatment plan goals at a speed that works best for you.
I have been practicing as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida for the past 23 years and am also a Licensed Therapist in Virginia, largely with a focus in the areas of depression, anxiety, thought disturbance, addiction, emotion regulation, relationship distress, and self-esteem. I feel many of the responses we struggle with are connected to a traumatic event (or perceived trauma) from the past. Currently, my primary focus has been in the individual realm, with a focus on relationship growth. I will encourage you to prioritize the areas you wish to address in therapy and tailor my approach on an individual basis. I

I am a trauma-competent therapist that employs a range of Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy ( DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) elements.
You are worthy of peace. You are worthy of being heard. You are worthy of healthy, nourishing relationships. You are more than your mistakes or challenges. Sometimes life circumstances and events can cloud the ability to believe this. Deciding to take a chance on therapy is a significant and, often, daunting step. But you are not alone! I am here to create a space where you feel safe and empowered to make positive change for a more fulfilling life. I would be honored to partner with you!

Therapy is not 'one size fits all,' which is why I offer a range of treatment options, including EMDR, cognitive processing, CBT, DBT, prolonged exposure, internal family systems, and narrative exposure therapy.
Hi! I'm Carisa. I provide telehealth-based psychotherapy for adults, children, and families in Massachusetts and Wyoming. I specialize in the treatment of mood disorders and acute, chronic and/or complex trauma. My practice emphasizes a blend of evidence-based care, kindness and unconditional positive regard, which I have found to be the 'recipe' for success. I am a good fit for those seeking a collaborative therapeutic approach in which the wisdom you have gained from your lived experience is a welcomed and honored part of our work together. I prioritize autonomy, choice and informed consent throughout the therapy process.

I often utilize Dialectical Behavioral Therapy ( DBT), Solution-focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques.
Hello, my name is Justine! I know it can be frustrating "shopping" for a new therapist. Therapy is not what it used to be, we can ditch the clipboard and be authentic. I help individuals and couples navigate anxiety, heal from codependency, process trauma, and build better systems for managing day to day life. Many clients who come to me have learned about coping skills and therapeutic techniques but struggle to apply them in their lives.

My integrated approach consists of EFT, CBT, DBT, attachment based therapy, IFS, Humanistic and structural techniques to name a few.
Are you ready to integrate loving kindness and compassion into the relationship you have with yourself and others? This may seem an impossible healing for those who have endured relational betrayal, death, loss, hurt or trauma. However, shifting focus towards meaning, resilience, and possibility can liberate you from your past and present suffering. What does this mean for you and your loved ones? It means here is an invitation to sit with a non-judgmental human being while you recover, connect, and heal in new ways. It means you may shed old roles, affirm new strengths, and learn others with vulnerability and without guard.

I am a Level 3 Radically Open DBT Practitioner providing full RO DBT (addresses over-control: hyper-perfectionism, chronic loneliness, AN, ASD) w/ DBT foundational training.
Do you feel ruled by your thoughts or emotions, lonely, out of touch with who you want to be, or as though your life goals seem to be drifting just beyond your reach? Life can frequently feel overwhelming; family, business, and personal relationships can present endless challenges leading us to feel frustrated, anxious, alone, or grasping to control the world around us. As our life changes, simultaneous feelings of joy and grief may overwhelm us. Adjusting to change can be difficult in all stages of life regardless of our age and sometimes we need help getting back on course.
