I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC). I received a BS degree in Psychology at the University of Central Florida. I attended Nova Southeastern University receiving a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have over 15 years experience working as mental health therapist and addiction counselor. I specialize in depression, anxiety, mood disorders, OCD, personality disorders, and ADHD. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and integrative therapy. My style is warm, transparent, and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.

I help individuals and couples improve their lives and their relationships. Specifically, I help women improve their self-esteem and boundaries in their relationships. Ron Cipriano is the Treatment Director for the Substance Abuse IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) at the Jacksonville Beach office of Ron Cipriano and Associates Counseling. There are daytime and a night time groups available. In addition to substance abuse, alcoholism and drug addiction groups, I also have individual counseling sessions for addictions and mental health/family/marital counseling.

Twenty years ago I was given the opportunity to turn my life around with the help of trained addiction professionals in a long term residential treatment program. In response to being given this advantage, I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I have dedicated my life to providing addiction and mental health services to those struggling with these issues. An ideal client recognizes their substance use has become problematic and is motivated to make positive changes. They may face physical, emotional, and interpersonal issues and feel overwhelmed. Services they may require include diagnosis, counseling, group therapy, and referrals for additional resources. Their goals may include abstinence, physical/mental health improvement, relationship repair, and healthy coping strategies. Motivations for seeking help vary, but clients must have a desire for a fulfilling life free from negative consequences of substance abuse. Hello, My name is Petergay Sterling. I am a psychoanalytical therapist and a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner student. Shirley is a Divorce Recovery Therapist whose passion is to work with women who have experienced or who are currently in the beginning, middle, or final phase of a divorce.

In my practice I see clients of all ages, for therapy and testing/evaluations. I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse/dependence, behavior disorders and family systems issues.
