At Anchor Life Clinic, we learn how to focus in ways that open our body up to experiencing freedom, creativity, and spaciousness. During the process of anchoring, we accomplish 4 intentions: 1) Slowing down repetitive thoughts, 2) Weakening the power of repetition, 3) Bringing attention to the present, and 4) Changing our focus to creative functioning. Anchoring creates a purpose that cultivates awareness of change.

Ideally, I want the client to be willing to peel back those layers of pain through understanding, believing truly in themselves along with what they are looking to work towards. Painting a better version of themselves and their plans to accomplish it.

You're constantly worried that something may happen to your baby or that you aren't doing enough as a mother. You knew motherhood would be hard but you didn't know the transition would come with so much anxiety or even depression. There are so many people around yet you feel alone in your experiences. You knew motherhood would be different but you weren't expecting this much change in your relationships, your personality, or your goals.

I obtained my Masters of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. I have 20+ years of diversified experience in various roles to include program development, client relations and participating with the Mobile Response Team (MRT) servicing adult and children in immediate mental health crisis. As a current Mental Health Clinician, my goals are to provide a safe and private platform to help you understand yourself more deeply and better cope with life’s constant changes, assess clients’ needs and level of functioning and provide Individual and/or family Therapy.
