Are you ready for a New Beginning? I’m Kristin, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) since 2017. Since obtaining a Psy.D in Clinical Psychology from NSU in 2019, I have run my private practice in Hollywood, Florida, and am currently working in this capacity via Telehealth. I specialize in the areas of addiction, drug and alcohol abuse, relapse prevention, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. I believe that the foundation of the therapeutic relationship begins with trust, acceptance, and honesty. Once you and I have a strong foundation, we will explore the goals you have and what you want your future to look like.

I hope to provide a safe and supportive space where individuals can explore, grow and learn, as they move toward greater clarity and connection in their lives and relationships. I desire that my clients would have the opportunity to work through their challenges in a collaborative and empathetic environment integrating research-based methods and a Christian worldview at the clients request.

In addition to regular services, I am now accepting short-term therapy clients for issues related to anxiety, stress, or life transitions. We all have the ability to grow and to reach our fullest potential in life. However, sometimes support is needed as we navigate life’s challenges and changes. As a Counseling Psychologist operating within a multiculturally focused liberation framework, I am committed to helping my clients realize the best version of themselves while honoring their identities, culture, life experiences, and values. My research and areas of interest has focused on EMDR, women's issues, postpartum, adoption-related issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and abuse. Counseling is a vulnerable process and I am committed to navigating it with you free of shame or judgement because the work we will do together is BRAVE and COURAGEOUS!

Working from a holistic model of treatment, integrating behavioral healthcare with medical care, art, yoga, animals and the natural world is my specialty. The client that is tired of being tired and unfulfilled or tired of being sick and tired and wants a real relationship that goes beyond "tell me how you feel today" is the person who will enjoy working with me. I utilize evidence-based treatment strategies but combine them in dynamic and engaging ways that make it possible for clients to heal body, mind and spirit while learning critical relationship skills with humans and the natural world.

My specialties include sex and love addiction including affair recovery, porn addiction and betrayal trauma. I earned my PhD in Clinical Sexology and my Master's in Mental and Clinical Health Counseling. I am a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and trauma therapist specializing in EMDR.

Working with women as they transition into and throughout motherhood holds a special place in my heart. My passion working with individuals in the perinatal season of life was ignited through my own experiences of motherhood. There are many unseen and unspoken challenges that come along with parenthood. No matter what your experience, I am here to support you in anyway I can. I also specialize working with adolescents and teens through social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties. The transition of adolescents is such a unique time in a persons’ life, for the adolescent their parents. I am here to support you through it!

I offer support to those experiencing anxiety, trauma, betrayal, unwanted sexual behaviors and a few other concerns. My clients are professionals and parents, and sometimes teens. I employ EMDR, Sandtray, Talk therapy, mindfulness, outdoor therapy, and VR exposures to tailor treatment. My current personal passion is to encourage anyone that (despite their best efforts) is not living the life that they desire, to exclude ADHD from possible concerns with the objective QbCheck. Is isn't hyperbole to say that treating ADHD can save a life.

Our goal is for every individual to respond fully to God out of who He created and redeemed them to be. Pain, depression and life patterns are obstacles that can stand in the way of growth. Our goal is to to remove those things that are currently hindering purpose, take back what's been stolen, and to restore purpose and identity. I am Polyamory, Kink, BDSM and Queer friendly and competent. I am secular and won't be pushing religion, though I respect all religions.
