My background includes crisis and suicidal ideation, trauma, and substance use. I am an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist. So much is uncertain right now in life - we're waiting in a limbo that feels endless. It's hard to know what to do with all the emotions swirling around in our brains. With everything going on in our lives, and the world right now, it's even more important to develop coping skills and have an appropriate outlet to process experiences and "empty out" our heads, sort through the jumble of thoughts, and make sense of it all. We tend to view our troubling thoughts as embarrassing and scary, and talking through them makes them much more manageable.

Dr. Lew Fabrick has over 44 years experience guiding individuals,couples, families through life's stormy weather. Having spent most of his life here in North Central Florida, Dr. Lew has successfully counseled many of our neighbors in and around Gainesville. Lew Fabrick gained experience working as a practitioner and clinical supervisor from 1975-84 and has been in full time private practice since.
