Young adults and working professionals, especially those working in healthcare and related fields, as well as college students. Over the years, I have tailored my practice towards those who take care of others, put others first, or put their future first. When I previously rounded on medical floors, I noticed that every hospital patient had one thing in common - they generally put themselves and their current needs last in their daily lives. I like to help people seek balance, and I love working with people who are interested in self-discovery, psychology, and navigating life's many stressors.

I am best positioned to serve adult individuals, couples, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds who are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship struggles, family issues, grief and loss, health, and midlife challenges—especially during transitional shifts like menopause and changes in family, at the workplace, and in social roles.
What sets me apart? I don’t do one-size-fits-all therapy. I tailor my approach—whether it’s narrative work, solution-focused strategies, family therapy, CBT, or mindfulness—to exactly what you need. I’ve worked with adults facing anxiety, depression, life’s messiness, and relationship chaos (because, let’s be real, we all have that).

I support late-identifying or late-diagnosed autistic adults navigating anxiety, depression, and identity struggles.
Do you ever feel invisible, as though the real you isn’t fully seen or understood by others? Maybe you’ve carried the pain of being misunderstood by family, friends, or society. I know how heavy it can feel when the people who should accept you don’t. While an autism diagnosis can provide clarity, it’s only part of the story. The deeper work is healing from the rejection, self-doubt, and emotional scars that come from years of not being seen for who you truly are.

Whether you're trying to make sense of something painful that happened years ago, or you’re caught in the constant hum of worry about the world around you, it can start to feel like you're stuck in a loop—with no pause button in sight.
Using a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Existential Therapy, I help clients better understand the thoughts, beliefs, and patterns that keep them feeling stuck. In this process, I help people reconnect not only with others, but with their ideal self.

When should I seek treatment for anxiety?
Everyone feels anxious at times, but when anxiety causes disruption to your daily life, it may be time to seek help. Such disruption can be mental, physical, or both: having fear dominate your thoughts, avoiding situations or objects that bring on feelings of anxiety, or experiencing shortness of breath, sweating, dizziness, or panic attacks. When these symptoms are recurrent and distressing, it may be time to talk to someone.

What are the most common types of treatment for anxiety?
Talk therapy, particularly cognitive behavioral therapy, is the most common treatment for anxiety. Studies have shown it is equally effective as medication. Other popular forms of therapy are popular, depending on a patient’s experience. Exposure therapy, for instance, can be useful for people dealing with fears and phobias, or who have experienced traumatic events. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy may be useful for patients who need help with emotion regulation. Anxiolytic medications, like benzodiazepines, can also help with calming a person enough to focus on the skills they’ve learned, and physical exercise has been shown to help symptoms of anxiety across the board.

How long does therapy for anxiety take to work?
The amount of time needed to alleviate symptoms depends on the severity of a person’s condition. Some therapies may take 5-20 weekly sessions to show results. Anti-depressant medications typically take two to four weeks before a benefit is felt. Anti-anxiety medications are felt typically within 20-30 minutes. Medications are best used to offer a patient a better headspace in which to work on techniques learned in therapy. Exercise, improved sleep habits, and meditation are effective, but takes weeks or months to show results.

How effective is treatment for anxiety?
Treatment for anxiety has been shown to be moderately to highly effective, according to a large body of psychology studies and analyses. For some people, treatment using CBT or exposure therapy alone is effective. Others respond best to a combination of medication and therapy.
