I see you. You may be working toward your best self, raising a developing one, or growing within a committed relationship. You’re driven, capable, and often juggling a lot, showing up even when things feel heavy. While you may be highly functioning on the outside, you may not feel as good on the inside. You might feel stuck, disconnected, or notice patterns that aren’t working. These moments aren’t failure, they’re signals that support and insight are needed. Therapy offers space to gain clarity, strengthen relationships, and create a path forward that aligns with who you are and what you want.

Are you carrying grief, anxiety, or patterns that feel impossible to shake? Whether you’re navigating the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or a transition that has left you feeling unmoored, you don’t have to do it alone. My work specializes in grief counseling and trauma recovery, creating a safe, compassionate space for emotions that often feel too heavy to process. At the same time, my approach goes beyond temporary relief. I help uncover the unconscious forces that shape your life: buried grief, early relationships, unspoken desires, and the repeating dynamics that keep you stuck.

I'm extensively trained in the following evidence-based therapies: Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy ( ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
You may look like you’re functioning on the outside, but inside your mind feels loud and overwhelming. Anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or trauma memories keep looping, and you’re exhausted from trying to manage it alone. If you’re struggling with anxiety or Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), you might find yourself overthinking, seeking reassurance, or avoiding situations just to get temporary relief. You want peace, clarity, and to trust yourself again. If you’re ready to face what’s been keeping you stuck, with support and structure, we can begin that work together.

My ideal client feels stuck between who they’ve been and who they want to be. They’re navigating anxiety, self-doubt, relationship struggles, or trauma—and they’re tired of doing it alone. They’re often the ones others rely on, but rarely have space for themselves. They want clarity, peace, and more authentic connection. They don’t need fixing—they need a place to be seen, supported, and gently challenged. Together, we work to untangle what’s holding them back so they can live with more freedom and self-trust.

Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) Therapists
How does acceptance and commitment therapy work?
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy encourages a person to listen to their self-talk. A person’s inner dialog can be indicative of how they treat themselves. ACT also encourages self-compassion; this can lead to a better understanding of negative thought patterns and emotional states. This understanding can then lead the individual to needed behavior change.

What are the goals of acceptance and commitment therapy?
The goal of acceptance and commitment is to expand a person’s psychological flexibility, a trait that encourages an individual to live in the present moment and to accept all their thoughts, feelings, and emotions, even ones that are difficult such as sadness and anxiety. In ACT, this acceptance is congruent with the individual’s values and beliefs.

Does acceptance and commitment therapy work for depression?
Acceptance and commitment therapy is effective for depression because it allows the individual to view their discomfort and suffering differently. Depressive feelings about relationship heartaches, for example, are a part of life. A despondent person learns to let go of their struggles and instead view their painful thoughts and feelings with compassion. This will lead the individual toward positive change.

How long are people typically in acceptance and commitment therapy?
A typical acceptance and commitment therapy session is 50 minutes long with one session per week. Treatment for common problems such as anxiety, depression, or relationship difficulties can last between eight weeks to four months. However, more severe cases may require more than one session a week and/or a longer time frame for treatment.
