Using trauma-focused, EMDR, CBT, somatic, and strength-based approaches, I support you in breaking painful cycles, healing emotional wounds, and reconnecting with yourself.
Do you feel overwhelmed trying to juggle infertility, pregnancy, or postpartum changes, while also managing anxiety, family expectations, or old wounds that keep resurfacing? Maybe you’re the one everyone turns to for help, but inside you feel like you’re barely holding it together. You’re not alone.

I have advanced training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, trauma, addiction and couples therapy.
You might be one who holds it all together — dependable, driven, always thinking ahead. But if you’re honest, the pressure is relentless. You might be navigating stress, perfectionism, or people-pleasing so automatically, you barely notice it anymore — until you feel burned out, disconnected, or like you're performing your life instead of living it. Maybe you find yourself resorting to habits you’re not proud of — behaviors that bring temporary relief but leave you feeling guilty or stuck. I work with people who are intense, thoughtful, and deeply motivated — often admired on the outside, but quietly overwhelmed on the inside.

Today, more people than ever suffer with depression, anxiety, trauma, parenting difficulties/poor relationships and weight issues among other areas.
I work with clients to help them to make serious changes in relationships, lifestyle/self care. Mind, Body and Spirit. I get people to talk and let go of their "stuff," become more confident and get unstuck. If you're unhappy with where you are at, that's where I can help. I employ a coaching mindset into my work, and it's goal/results-driven.

Frustrated of being told to "relax", "calm down", "you are too sensitive", "grow up" & "get over it already, or "you worry to much"? People tell you this as if you do not want to relax, stop overthinking, overreact and worry! If you could, you would! Being told this from friends and loved ones does not help. In fact, it can cause you to feel much worse! You probably have tried to stop on your own, but your mind continues to fill up with thoughts that cause you to become stressed and you struggle to turn your brain off! You are not alone! I get it and can absolutely relate! This why I am so dedicated in helping people find relief!

Together, we will challenge the trauma, harmful patterns, and old beliefs that have been causing you pain and holding you back.
•• Accepting New Clients •• It's back.. that feeling in your chest again. It is the weight of the negative feelings you have been carrying for so long. When will it go away? When will you feel good enough? It is exhausting. You watch others and wonder how they all seem to navigate life so easily, while you have to work so hard at it. Your social media shows a happy and outgoing person, but the truth is you always feel empty and alone inside. You have tried everything to numb the pain, but the relief is short and fleeting. I have been where you are and there is another way!

I am very compassionate, consistent, discerning, and at the same time offer a sense of humor to the arduous work of getting freed from past trauma, pain, or attachment wounds that hinder wholehearted living in the now.
I have had great success working with single women, ages 18-40, struggling with unmet desires for marriage, anxiety, relationship difficulties, depression, fear, faith deconstruction, self confidence, overall knowing their true goodness and beauty as a woman. They typically desire to feel more free to be uniquely themselves, without pressures to perform for love and approval.

Trauma and PTSD Therapists

When should I seek treatment for trauma?

Not everyone who undergoes trauma needs therapy to heal, but many do. If, after experiencing a traumatic event, you find yourself struggling with symptoms such as nightmares, dissociation, irritability, or emotional numbness—especially if these symptoms last more than a month and are severe enough to interfere with your daily functioning—you may benefit from seeking out therapy with a trauma-informed provider.

How long does trauma therapy take?

Different types of therapy for trauma unfold on different timelines. Prolonged exposure therapy and cognitive processing therapy, for example, each take about three months, while trauma-informed CBT may last anywhere from 8 to 25 sessions. Other approaches, especially those that are less structured or that incorporate elements from multiple modalities, may be more open-ended, though many patients report feeling better within the first few months of treatment.

What happens if trauma is left untreated?

Unaddressed trauma can have serious—even devastating—effects on relationships, career, and day-to-day functioning. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can lead people to distrust or lash out at others, making it difficult to maintain intimate relationships; it can also trigger symptoms such as flashbacks or hyperreactivity that can interfere with a person’s ability to function effectively, personally and/or professionally. Some sufferers turn to drugs to find relief. Symptoms may lessen on their own with time, but there is no guarantee that PTSD will resolve on its own.

Can PTSD come back after treatment?

It is possible for PTSD symptoms to recur months or years after successful treatment. This is because, like most mental health disorders, it is not possible to “cure” PTSD, and stressful life events may cause symptoms to recur in even the most resilient individuals. There is no shame in re-experiencing PTSD symptoms nor in returning to therapy when such relapses occur; indeed, many forms of trauma therapy explicitly encourage periodic “maintenance sessions” to reinforce coping skills and ensure that symptoms stay manageable.
