Porn addiction can quietly erode trust in a relationship, leaving one partner feeling hurt and inadequate while the other feels caught in a cycle of guilt, secrecy, and broken promises despite all their willpower. Over time, this often leads to growing disconnection or even a sense of betrayal. If this is your reality, you are not alone. What often begins as normal screen use or social media can progress into porn sites, cam sites, or OnlyFans and become a pattern that is difficult to control, even for men disciplined in every other area of life.

Reaching out can feel vulnerable, but it’s also a powerful act of care for yourself.
Do you feel like you’re constantly "on," managing the world around you while feeling disconnected from yourself? Or do you struggle with letting go of the past and moving forward? What is holding you back from having the life you want? Perhaps you’ve tried talk therapy before, but you’re still carrying the weight of old patterns, stress, or memories that won't let go. You aren't looking for just another person to vent to—you’re looking for a way to actually feel better, move faster, and regain your peace. I have over 26 years of clinical experience and am ready to help you resolve those questions!

I primarily use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold standard treatment for OCD and anxiety, along with elements of CBT and ACT.
I'm an OCD and Anxiety specialist. If you feel stuck in a cycle of anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or fear that just won’t let up—you’re not alone, and more importantly, it is treatable. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing OCD, anxiety disorders, and phobias, including intrusive thoughts, health anxiety, panic, and specific fears such as flying or losing control. Many of the clients I work with are high-functioning on the outside, but internally feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or trapped in patterns they can’t seem to break. My approach is active, structured, and evidence-based.

Sometimes the decision to engage in psychotherapy can be daunting and overwhelming. You may have been contemplating the idea of beginning therapy for some time or it may be that an experience or something in your life has triggered the decision to begin seeking support and/or a change. Many people begin therapy because they are experiencing sadness, depression, anxiety, grief/loss or can't articulate the reason but know something is different and they just don't feel "right". Old coping mechanisms aren't as effective and/or you seek a different unbiased perspective.

Sometimes people experience emotional problems (e.g., anxiety, depression), behavioral problems (e.g., overeating, smoking), or relationship problems (e.g., excessive arguing, poor communication) that interfere with their daily functioning. These difficulties result from the interaction of biological, learning, behavioral, and environmental factors, which influence patterns of thinking and behaving. Negative life events can contribute to the development of self-defeating patterns of thinking and behaving, which some people can have difficulty changing.

You may be someone who feels pulled in many directions at once: managing anxiety or self-criticism, navigating relationship stress, and striving towards personal goals, all while feeling uncertain about the next chapter of your life. On the outside, look put together, but inside, you feel tense, unsure, or overwhelmed. I work with adults who want grounded, effective support to understand why certain patterns keep repeating and how to shift them. We focus on what’s happening for you right now — the thoughts, reactions, and behaviors that keep you stuck — and build tools you can use outside therapy.

Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) Therapists
How does acceptance and commitment therapy work?
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy encourages a person to listen to their self-talk. A person’s inner dialog can be indicative of how they treat themselves. ACT also encourages self-compassion; this can lead to a better understanding of negative thought patterns and emotional states. This understanding can then lead the individual to needed behavior change.

What are the goals of acceptance and commitment therapy?
The goal of acceptance and commitment is to expand a person’s psychological flexibility, a trait that encourages an individual to live in the present moment and to accept all their thoughts, feelings, and emotions, even ones that are difficult such as sadness and anxiety. In ACT, this acceptance is congruent with the individual’s values and beliefs.

Does acceptance and commitment therapy work for depression?
Acceptance and commitment therapy is effective for depression because it allows the individual to view their discomfort and suffering differently. Depressive feelings about relationship heartaches, for example, are a part of life. A despondent person learns to let go of their struggles and instead view their painful thoughts and feelings with compassion. This will lead the individual toward positive change.

How long are people typically in acceptance and commitment therapy?
A typical acceptance and commitment therapy session is 50 minutes long with one session per week. Treatment for common problems such as anxiety, depression, or relationship difficulties can last between eight weeks to four months. However, more severe cases may require more than one session a week and/or a longer time frame for treatment.
