I am pretty traditional in my beliefs about the purpose of therapy, but not your traditional therapist.I do not sit with a notebook and write down everything you say with a hmm at the end before I collect my fee.I am interactive and even directive sometimes. I guess that's why I work well with teenagers:) So, if you want therapy to be fun, I'm your gal. My specialty area has been adolescents and addiction for over 30 years, but I see adults too (codependence, divorce, parent alienation) etc. I am also a past President of LPCA, and operate a new virtual business called ProjectEvolve.com. It is an alternative to social media for kids.

Supporting your child just doesn't seem to work anymore. Being a teenager, they feel out of reach. They have been struggling for so long and you have exhausted all resources.
