As a therapist, I have been in private practice for 24 years. I work with children, adolescents, adults and families. I practice primarily with solution-focused, short term therapy to help aid in empowerment and healing. I utilize life coaching/career building to help adult clients deal with difficult transitions in current day employment. The solution based focused therapies tend to help those dealing with current life stressors. I provide a variety of age appropriate play in therapy/family therapy as needed when working with a young population. I also utilize Sandtray Therapy and Certified Therapy Dogs for emotional support.

Lois supports adults struggling to connect with others, establish healthy boundaries, or communicate within their current relationships due to early childhood trauma. She utilizes a trauma-informed, culturally responsive lens to support clients with unconditional regard and occasional humor. Based upon a client’s needs and preferences, her clinical orientation can include a blend of AEDP, family systems, trauma-healing, strengths-based, and narrative therapy. Lois strives to provide a loving "no judgement zone" for clients to pursue their healing. She serves as a cheerleader in her clients' journey towards NEW hope and resilience.

I have provided my clients with, caring, confidential counseling for over 40 years. My work with clients combines Client Centered,Cognitive, Behavioral, and Family Systems approaches to custom fit therapy to the unique needs of each one of my clients. I assist those I work with in discovering the inner strengths that can empower them to make the positive changes necessary to live healthier, happier lives.

I provide individual, couples, and family therapy. I help to strengthen relationships as well as decreasing conflicts, developing academic and career reachable goals, strengthening mental and physical health in addition to depression and anxiety. I have extensive experience with PTSD and healing symptoms of fear, dissociation and hypervigilance through EMDR and brainspotting. I also work with couples and families.
