I have been working in the helping field for over 10 years and my treatment philosophy is simple. I believe we all have the capacity for change and we all have strengths that can be utilized to assist in overcoming barriers that impact our ability to effectively function. Darnel Scott, LMFT, completed her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University, TX and she is also a certified Neurofeedback practitioner. She has done extensive training in the field of Neurofeedback and enjoys the fast results this modality brings to her clients, especially those who struggle with Anxiety, Depression, ADD, ADHD, Autism, Migraines, PTSD and more. Darnel is passionate about helping people of all ages. Her therapy approach is focused on systemic results and is convinced people can accomplish the change they want to see in their lives.

I provide a mind-body centered approach to mental health. Mind-body work restores joy, vitality, physical well being and intimacy with others by freeing up emotional blocks in a safe and supportive manner. Grief, depression, anxiety, stress, and couples conflict are also addressed. This approach is especially effective in releasing psychological traumas which underly physical symptoms. I have over twenty-five years of experience helping individuals, couples and teens to achieve healing. My background of study includes extensive work with many of the most highly regarded leaders in the field of mind-body psychology.

I have been in the pursuit of helping people achieve a richer life and closer relationships for over 30 years. Through those years I have continued to add intense training and expertise in psychology. I work from a supportive, non-judgmental position which gives you the freedom to design goals, get feedback, and try out new thoughts and behaviors that help you achieve success. I hold a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) at Alliant International University (www.alliant.edu). I am a licensed Psychologist in the State of Oregon.

Eva’s aim is that you’ll gain a sense of self, as you process & cultivate strategies to counteract distressing situations & emotions during your sessions. She’ll aid you in setting and attaining your therapeutic goals. She has experience working with individuals who struggle with trauma, substance use, anxiety, and depression, just to name a few. Eva offers both in-person & virtual sessions. She utilizes talk therapy, with a person-centered & strength-based approach. She integrates varying techniques and interventions to personalize sessions, and if necessary, will incorporate case management skills to locate needed resources.
