I’ve been in practice for 21 years and have successfully worked with clients of all ages, with both common and complex needs. My approach focuses on experiential awareness and processing, while working with present day thoughts feelings and behaviors. Hello and welcome! My therapeutic areas of specialty are adolescent issues, women's issues, parenting, family conflicts and healing family trees. I got my Masters degree in Marriage and Family therapy at Southern Connecticut and have worked in private practice in Connecticut and Colorado. I’ve worked with clients on grief and loss, trauma, school and sports anxiety , marital conflicts, postpartum issues, attachment issues, faith issues, premarital counseling, and divorce support.

I work with clients, couples and families to lower anxiety and improve communication within the family and extended family. Often it helps to work with childhood trauma, or neglect as these things can carry forward into current relationships. I do work with helping couples and families identifying and working towards resolving challenges to their communication and care for each other.

I am certified in anxiety and trauma (EMDR). I am also a relationship expert with a PhD in marriage and family therapy and a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-S, LICSW). I have over 19 years of experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, groups, and families. Many of my clients choose alternative methods for dealing with anxiety and depression instead of prescription medication. I am also a certified herbalist and a practitioner of yoga.
