I have over 25 years of mental health and addiction treatment experience. My goal is to make each person comfortable in their life, be who they are, to feel confident and live a fulfilled life. I work with adults who struggle with relational challenges both with themselves and others which often results in symptoms of depression, anxiety, shame and more. Through both assessment and psychotherapy, I help people identify the contributing factors to why they feel the way they do so they are able to gain insight around what affects them and how they might respond differently in the future. My goal is to collaborate with patients so that they can build a repertoire of language around their emotional experience while building new relational skills so that they can be their own advocate and improve the way they feel.

I support individuals and couples through challenges and transitions to improve the quality of their lives. One focus of my practice is in Perinatal Mental Health (Pregnancy and Postpartum) including mood and anxiety disorders, depression, miscarriage, stillbirth, pregnancy or birth complications, trauma and grief, or difficulties bonding with your baby. I work with couples struggling with relationship issues including the impact having a baby has on a relationship, parenting challenges and healthy communication. Other treatment specialties include substance abuse, relational trauma, emotional regulation, and suicidality.

When we struggle with depression, anxiety, pain from the past, or traumatic stress, our relationships struggle too. Often the pain experienced in relationships with our loved ones is what drives us to find relief and solutions from the disconnect and disruption we are in the midst of. Engaging in therapy and neurofeedback is about looking for the solutions that will enable us to move beyond the obstacles and into the connections we really desire.

Nancy Heilman, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist with over twenty-five years of experience working with children, teens, and families. Clinical treatment methods have included family therapy and parenting skills training, individual therapy for children and adolescents utilizing cognitive-behavioral interventions and skills-training.Specialties include anxiety and adjustment disorders, brain injury, neuro-developmental disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and chronic and terminal illness. Her clinical approach is primarily evidenced based, cognitive-behavioral, family systems, developmental, and neuro-biological in nature.

Angela Lujan, LMHC, CMHS, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Child Mental Health Specialist. Angela has worked over the last several years with children/teens/young adults and their families, helping navigate relational hardships and conflicts. Angela is particularly drawn to working with youth and adults who struggle with interpersonal relationships, bullying, self-image issues, anxiety, depression, self-harm, grief and loss, trauma, learning disabilities, behavioral disorders, concerns with school performance, and various other emotional and behavioral challenges.
