Our current and past life circumstances can often leave us with feelings of stress, anxiety, and sadness. These emotions can be confusing and difficult to manage and process. My goal is to come alongside clients to reach their personal goals, using warmth, understanding, and acceptance. I will work with you, with you in the driver’s seat, to set goals, explore and gain understanding of yourself, process your emotions in a safe space, reframe negative beliefs about self, and find solutions that work for you.
I enjoy working with clients with a variety of concerns including general anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, and relationship issues. I am also passionate about helping clients to process past trauma, and have experience working with survivors of domestic violence helping clients to process trauma and increase coping skills and self-esteem.
My clinical training is focused on a humanistic approach, and I am trained in and incorporate EMDR therapy. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, supervised by Allison Cornell, LPC-S. I would love to work with you!
