Let me introduce myself to you. I graduated from University of Phoenix Utah in 2010 and moved back home to Helena Montana shortly after that. Since returning home I have been practicing therapy in Helena. My style is more solution focused brief therapy which focuses on improving strengths to help manage stressors. It is my opinion that the client is the expert with the answers, my job is to help the client find those answers. For over a year I have been bringing my Yello lab Frank to sessions with me and have found great success with him.
I work at identifying issues with in the clients life and then finding solutions for those issues with the client.
In my years I have learned the most important thing in therapy is the relationship with the client. If the client does not trust their therapist then the client will not improve their story. If this is the case it is the duty of the therapist to refer client to a more fitting therapist because therapy is about the client and not the therapist.
