Through Finding Ways LLC I work over telehealth with folks who identify as LGBTQIA+. Often people come to me with depression, trauma, anxiety, relationship issues, eating disorders, sexual issues, and a desire to live with less shame and more ease. I also now offer sex therapy for individuals, couples, and moresomes. I am passionate about serving LGBTQIA+ folks and acknowledge intersectionality of various identities within each individual. I also offer letter writing for gender affirming care. Sliding scale options are full at this time, exceptions being for those looking for a letter for gender affirming care letters.
I use a compassionate, person-centered, narrative, harm reductionist, liberatory and constructionist lens and frame works to help people unpack what is at the root of their pain and hardships, and build new neural pathways that can help construct a new path forward. Other modalities include EMDR, IFS, and somatics.
I center lived experiences of the people I work with, acknowledging intersectional identities within each person, and how they interact with my own in the therapeutic relationship. I value a liberatory framework and a collaborative learning environment, addressing people as whole beings. I work part time and hope to be able to work with you!
