We provide equine and animal-assisted therapy for individuals, couples, parents, and groups of all ages. Animal interactive sessions offer an experiential approach that goes beyond traditional talk therapy to help restore balance in people’s lives. Animal-assisted therapy helps alleviate a variety of mental health issues that include abuse, trauma, attachment issues, PTSD, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, socialization issues, communication problems, etc. Several of our clinicians are EMDR-trained, and take a holistic approach to trauma informed practices that nurture body, mind, and spirit!
Through interacting with animals, people of all ages can experience the power of the human-animal bond. In animal-assisted therapy, animals are an integral part of the treatment process and meant to improve the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive functions of humans. We offer play therapy, and non-traditional approaches for all ages.
