Our journey is full of challenges that we have to overcome in order to get back to being happy. We experience sadness and loss. We fall completely in love only to suffer heart break. Some of us go through traumatic events such as combat or a devastating accident. These situations and many more cause us to develop feelings of fear, sadness and frustration which we do our best to manage, but typically do so in an unhealthy and maladapted way.

I became a therapist to assist individuals navigate different stressors and transitions in a healthy way. But what I desired more than anything was to create a safe space and represent those who resemble me. As a psychotherapist, I aim to treat pre-teens, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflict, low self esteem, difficult life transitions, grief and other life challenges. I take an eclectic approach to my therapeutic practice to ensure the needs of all clients are met, both personally and culturally.

I'm a fully licensed professional who, during a successful career directing programs on Long Island and Queens has moved completely into private practice. I continue to update my knowledge. I am compassionate, honest and want to provide you with the tools necessary to overcome any issue, whether from your family of origin, current relationships or work/school related.
