| 中文 Trauma may manifest in your life as all kinds of disruptions, such as anxiety, depression, burnout, nightmares, family conflicts, or relationship struggles. Yet, I see them as how your pain has found its own way to show up in this particular form. I approach this work with a trauma lens, yet it doesn’t mean that I will be searching for your “brokenness”. I see trauma as an inherent aspect of the human condition, and that we are all continuously healing from traumas, whether “big” or “small”, personal or collective.
I bring warmth, a calming presence, and touches of playfulness into our relational space of healing. If you're open, we might use some colorful scarves to set up the "stage" for your inner voice to emerge. These experiential elements are optional but may help with bringing in surprising insights. I also practice EMDR as a specialized trauma work modality.
Meanwhile, nothing is "too small" or "not that traumatic" for us to work on either. Anything that you would love to bring to our sessions holds significance and deserves this space.
