Finding a therapist you can trust can be challenging. My clients describe me as supportive, empathetic and honest. I speak up more during sessions than many traditional therapists because I’m genuinely curious about how you think and feel. Engaging in a conversation and getting to know your story are the reasons I do this work. Many of us benefit from support as we navigate stressful life transitions, explore relationship dynamics and process old wounds. The only requirement is that you’re curious to learn more about yourself.
I love working with women and am passionate about women's issues; life transitions, relationships, self-esteem, and trauma. I also enjoy working with college and graduate school students. I recognize that society is hard on women so I seek to help empower people in a supportive space. I always try to honor each client’s voice and comfort level.
Change is hard. Recognizing that you'd like to change patterns and alter your perspective is an essential first step to beginning the work. I recognize and appreciate how difficult this is so I provide a safe space and another point of view. If this sounds good, I would love to hear from you!
