Being a parent can be very challenging, make you feel vulnerable, and even overwhelmed at times. My goal as a therapist is to begin the healing process with you. Whether you are a parent that is seeking support for your infant, toddler, or child due to behavioral or emotional problems, family conflict, recent separation, divorce, death, or trauma. I specialize in providing Play Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Behavioral Modification for children, teens & families.
One of the most difficult aspects of being a parent is seeing your child in pain and feeling that you are not able to help. This can be a result to pain from depression, anxiety, loss, trauma, divorce or social and academic pressure.
By using evidenced-based models, I help clients identify their strengths through behavioral and emotional changes and work on increasing their self-confidence, we also work to build a stronger relationship between the child/teen and parent(s). Together, we build a foundation through communication and realistic goals & expectations.
