My greatest strength and professional interest as a therapist is working with adults from an interpersonal, psycho-dynamic perspective assisting men and women to gain insight and understanding of how their early relationships and emotional experiences have influenced behavioral/relational patterns impacting them today. I assist people in making self-determined changes in their lives in the areas of thinking, feeling and behaving: the three primary components of the human being and how each is expressed and manifested in relationship to others. Spirituality is supported and integrated as my clients are personally inclined.
SOUL & BODY: The ultimate goal for us as humans is to learn or restore two primary capacities; loving God and loving others; manifesting in all interpersonal relationships. Thoughts, feelings or behaviors hindering someone from wholly experiencing or achieving these are identified as the hurts, pains and issues for treatment in therapy.
I bring to my work a wide array of life experiences and wisdom. I practice self-care in order for me take care of the people I see in my practice. Understanding that we consist of three primary integrated parts of BODY, HEART and MIND; we need to be living in a healthy balance of WORK (productive engagement); PLAY (emotional rest/recharge) and SLEEP.
