Every person who comes to me has unique vulnerablities and experiences as well as unique personal strengths to discover.
My training encourages me to assess the whole system: The culture, family, the past and present situation, as well as your inner world of beliefs, thoughts and feelings. This expanded view opens up space for you to begin to see options in areas where you have felt particularly limited or stuck.
I use different models to teach people skills in listening to and nurturing themselves. Internal Family Systems Therapy guides a lot of my work. I also do EMDR for people who have past trauma effecting their current life.
